99% of the games I play on my iPhone are games such as Frenzic, Bejeweled 2, Peggle, Doodle Jump, Big Top 10, etc. Are there any other such games around with addictive endless replayability, good support for resuming, highscores, etc?

No luck. The only fighting games like that out right now are Blades of Fury and Spartacus. If you had to pick, go with Blades of Fury. But it only shines because it is being compared to a sea of mediocre games within its genre.
Ignore SunriseMoon lol. It's a really fun game, and for a buck, you can't go wrong. My only complaint is that levels take a bit long to complete, so if they update it to set the goal to 500m instead of 1000m (the amount of space you have to cover to go to the next level), it'd be better, but as of now, don't pass it up.
Once more levels and boss battles are added missions won't need to be as long. But how else are you going to unlock all those doodles?
Yeah, boss battles would definetly help things... It gets a bit repetitive, although it remains fun. As for all the doodles, I'd say go by kills rather than area covered.
Ohhh... well, maybe reduce it to 50 hearts. I was wondering why they were counting how many I picked up.... Now it all makes sense...
