I went ahead and tried the lite and I must say... It was pretty fun. You have to guide your troops to the exit by flicking them and making a path for them.
I think this has become a problem... You're now subliminally convincing people to get Battle Blasters. It's back to BBA with you!

O and starmonkey--everywhere I go I see Battle Blasters now!! I actually haven't heard of the game before, but I figure if so many people rate it so highly it must be good......can you describe to me what the goal of the game is and what gameplay is like?is there a lite version I can fiddle around with? I honestly don't know anything about the game
alright. firstly its a one vs one strategy shooter thing. you face opposite your opponent and you shoot at them. there is so much strategy in this game you wouldnt believe it. it is kind of hard to explain really. there are 6 characters to play with and its soooo awesome. favorite game ever. there is no lite version so you just have to trust me. check out my signature for reviews, pictures and videos. trust me you are going to love it! convinced 7 people today and they all love it!
So it a top down view game, two guys on two different platforms, and ur trying to shoot down the other guy? Not to be rude, but where does the strategy come in?
yep top down view yep two characters per battle yep trying to shoot down you were not being rude. let me explain 6 completely different characters with different strengths (defense, speed and power). they also each have a totally different super power. you must master when to move, shoot (2 different kind of shots), and block. you must know how to fight each different character because they are all so different. please. trust me on this. you will love it.
Ok so my choices are: Vanquish: The Oath of Brothers Battle Blasters Battle for Wesnoth Problems: Vanquish- looks repetitive, and very similar to cartoon wars gunner (which i have) Battle Blasters - i don't know what it is about, sound repetitive Battle for Wesnoth - $5, should i save for sims 3 world adventures or should i get this? also, they removed Battle for Wesnoth lite.
