Actually, Somerandomdude asked a question about the games I mentioned a page back, but I didn't really feel like going back a page to quote.
Desperately? Haha, if you get an iPod Touch 4 the first thing you need to get is Infinity Blade. I like JRPGs too, but from what I've seen Eternal Legacy just doesn't click with me, but you might be different. I'd suggest YouTubing it first.
Yeah, I just Youtubed a 15 minute video of it and it's reminding me quite a bit of Final Fantasy VII's combat system, although I didn't get to see too much of how the partners worked. If you have absolutely no control over them, or controlling them is too much of a hassle I might overlook it and keep playing the other 3 RPG's I have on my iPod (and might even reinstall Final Fantasy II to give it another shot). And Infinity Blade is one of the main reasons I wanted an iDevice 4. It looks INCREDIBLE, and that's from video alone.
Basically either your partners act randomly by themselves, or you control them. However, when you control them you still have no idea when they're going to attack; the movement queuing system is really weird/random. That's why I suggested you don't get it. The graphics look great though. And yeah, Infinity Blade is incredible. Mastering all the weapons will take you about 4 to 5 hours, but the experience after that is still incredible. I'm currently stuck fighting a level 300 God King, while I'm only at the level cap of 40. It's extremely satisfying parrying and dodging his attacks but it's really hard. Plus, so far I've got him within 100 HP (he starts with around 8000) but his last combo I've never managed to fully parry, and I die after he hits me once with his most powerful attack. It's a really gratifying experience though, and you get the "holy shit, this is running on an portable device, not a console" kind of feeling. Plus, the two cameras, FaceTime, retina display, A4 chip, etc. make it a really worthwhile device upgrade. Sadly, I'm out of iTunes credit at the worst possible time of the year. Heh.
How are these games for 99c? Samurai II Resident Evil 4 Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Avatar
Based on a scale of Definitely, Yes, Meh, or No I would say: Samurai II - Yes Resident Evil 4 - Meh Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - Yes if you are willing to use a walkthrough, Meh otherwise because the small screen makes it hard for an idea of where to go next Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Yes if you positively love all FPSes, Meh otherwise Avatar - Meh
Yes. It's great for 0.99, but I'd get zombie infection instead lol. Yes! Yes. Yes for 0.99, but it's boring as hell.
For a dollar, how are you not mashing the "Buy" button on Prince of Persia!? It's one of the greatest console games I've played for a buck! Don't think twice, just hit it now! And admittedly, Battlefield and Resident Evil 4 are pretty fun too. I didn't play too much of Samurai II or any of Avatar, so I can't give too much info on those.
Hi can someone give me some help? I can't decide between NOVA 2 , real racing 2, aralon, or shadow guardian. Thanks' for your help in advance!
Real Racing 2 or Aralon. Real Racing 2 would be my choice though, simply because it is an undeniably beautiful game for anybody who has ever driven a car or seen someone drive a car. So pretty much everybody.
I'm thinking of getting Rage at some point, and I have a feeling I may be getting an iDevice 4 at some point. Should I get the regular version now and play it on my 2G iPod or wait until I get the new one so I can get the HD version?
Beta tester for Aralon so I might be biased lol. I'd say get: -Aralon -then RR2 -then nova 2 -then shadow guardian
What are the best apps from here: http://indiesale.com/ thinking canabalt, solipskier, drop 7? I already have osmos.
Don't Rage. Wait until you have a 4th gen iDevice. Then don't get Rage HD. Save $6. Buy Infinity Blade.
