Wow, that was some bunch of... Bought trainyard, solipskier, fruit ninja and space miner. I'll also wait for Osmos to get another 0,79 period, then it's mine. So far got 14,67 left. Might spend 5 or so more, then I got something left for price reductions or sth. like that ^-^.
also, if you're new to the device and enjoy the hunt for apps, there are a couple great app finders out there... appshopper is a free app that will keep you informed about sales and releases with detailed info about past app activity and wishlists. appadvice is a paid app that is woth every single penny. i was skeptical about paying for an app finder but it's probably the most used app on my device.
Got AppShopper and Pocket Frogs for now... =P I don't really mind paying for an app 1,59, even if I 'just' have ~14 left. Also because I don't plan buying another card that soon ^^ Hopefully I'll see when Osmos gets 0,79 again =)
you can use appshopper and put osmos on your wishlist. if you like, you can set it up so that the app sends you a push notification when it goes on sale as well. furthermore, you can see how often a game goes on sale to see if waiting is worthwhile. i think the only time osmos went on sale was during a MASSIVE app store sale that was loosely sponsored by apple...so i'm not sure if it will get back down to that .79 price point youre looking for any time soon. it's a spectacular game...i highly recommend it.
I asked for a suggestion about Alice from Anuman games....noone answered...well I've purchased it anyway and it's a great game, with awesome art scenes and gameplay; so: children please delete zenonia, fruit ninja, phoenix wright and similar "garbage" and take Alice while it's .99c
Sale o' Rama So I just bought Phoenix Wright on the first found of pre-Thanksgiving sales but I still have interest in a few more apps. I only have an 8GB touch and it's full so things need to be deleted to add more but I figure I will eventually upgrade to a bigger memory soon so better to get them for cheap and add them eventually. ADVICE NEEDED on the following apps: Zenonia 1 or 2 - the second is $2 more right now is it worth it? The Incident - why is it so special people keep talking about it but it looks like an 8-bit doodle jump to me Game Dev Story - i've heard lots about it but is it that good? How much playtime is there? Worth it at the current sale price or should I wait it out (i don't need it so crucially) Thanks for help all!
Zenonia 2 is a big improvement over the first. The controls are better, there's much more content, ranged classes, and online multiplayer (sort of). Plus, my name is in the credits, making it worth the dollar alone. And I'm also wondering about Game Dev Story. There's a lite version that I'll give a spin, but it just seems like any other time management game to me otherwise.
Game Dev Story is definitely worth the $3 and will keep you occupied for a long time. One playthrough (20 years in-game) takes about 4 hours, but you'll probably be so addicted to it that you'll be more than willing to play through it again. Both Zenonias are good, so you can't go wrong with either. I prefer the second one, but there are people who like the first one more (I think).
Yeah, I noticed that after. I was thinking "Nah... I'm sure this guy is wrong... but... I don't know. Best not to correct it." Then you go and correct it.
Just wrapped up Chaos Rings, looking for another good rpg. Trying to find something that is really customizable as far as your character, and hopefully /w good controls! Any suggestions?
