HOLD IT! Phoenix: Let me get this straight: All this time you haven't experienced the awesomeness of Phoenix Wright, and yet you miss the chance that it's only 2 dollars? ninjackid: Yeah... Judge: What's this all about? Phoenix: Let me explain... [The screen goes black-and-white, while a flashback plays...] Phoenix: For months, ninjeckid has tried to deny what an amazing game Phoenix Wright is. It's long, humorous, dramatic, amazing, incredible, awesome, great, undislikable... Judge: We see your point! Go on. Phoenix: It's simple! the only reason why ninjackid has not bought the game because... [close up on Phoenix's face] ...HE ONLY WANTS TO BE DIFFERENT FROM EVERYBODY ELSE! Judge: What you speak of.... it's blasphemy! Phoenix: Of course! Don't you realize that the only reason not to buy this game at $1.99 is to attract attention to yourself? ninjackid: I would never... Phoenix: Oh really? Then tell me... WHY HAVEN'T YOU BOUGHT YOU PHOENIX WRIGHT YET? Judge: Phoenix, calm down! This is not the time for anger! Phoenix: This is the perfect time for anger, your honor! Until ninjackid provides solid evidence why he should not download this game, this trial is meaningless! Judge: Very well. ninjackid has 24 hours to present to the court a reason for his unreasonable behavior. Court adjourned.
Stop making me do shameless bumps on my posts that get overlooked by hundred of comments on one game!
I can comment about Ash. If you like retro stuff, get it, but it has some things modern RPGs don't, such as a world map or quest log. I like it though.
Sorry I cant comment on either game I haven't played them. I have found this to be a problem with this thread before. I think a good idea might be to go to each games individual thread and on each post 'How does this compare to [other game] in terms of value/content/fun' Again sorry I personally couldn't help you out with these specific games.
lololololololol. Funniest thing I've read today. Revolt! It's a great game with a good story. Rogue Runner is also very good for when you have a minute or two to waste.
Well I need good and engaging game for train (traveling tommorow) if the game will be truly amazing I will pay even 10 dollars. I need game with awesome gameplay, amazing story, and in best case that the game will be long (all aspescts except longevity are not necessary)
Well, Revolt has a story mode with 8 levels, and it takes a while to finish, but it's not a looooooong time. But it does have an awesome survival mode. Ravensword also has a lot of gameplay depth.
Battle for Wesnoth. Over 100 hours of gameplay with multiple campaigns, each with good storylines and great gameplay (TBS).
So, Epic War TD or Star Wars: Battle for Hoth? Both look like good TD games and only $1. I don't normally stick with TD games (i play for a little while and then get bored), and I already have tons of games, which is why I'm not planning on getting both (at least not right now). I just don't have time to play both.
What is the BEST online pool game in the store right now? I have seen about 3-4 different ones. I just want the most stable and highest player population.
Pro pool online is great. Top graphics, 3 types of games and good online play. You win money by playing vs the computer, you can then bet this money against real people to win more! The you can buy new cues, felts or environments.

Plus it's only .99 now, too. There is so much quality and quantity in this game, saying .99 is a steal for the game is an understatement.
I've realized now that questions like these are like asking if you should get an extra-large tub of ice cream for just .99 cents even though you're allergic to dairy products. If you aren't really into TBS games, then obviously there really is no point in getting the game. But don't get me wrong, if you're looking for a TBS, Wesnoth is the one to get.
heh heh, good analogy. Wesnoth does have some other elements to it though - especially RPG (your units can level up and even make class changes, and there are sometimes RPG style conversation choices that can affect the path you take). There's also a TD style map - it's still turn based, but it does emulate a TD style game. But yeah, ultimately if you don't like TBS, as good as Wesnoth is, it may not really be worth it for you.
