    funny.

i was coming on here to ask the very same question. i picked up bug panic last night and there is a ton that i enjoy about the game. i didn't really have any intrest in either esp or dodon until i played bug panic and realized how good they both probably are. now i want one.

    any other input?

    thanks!

There are lite versions for both Espgaluda and Dodonpachi. I happen to prefer Espgaluda, but it's probably just personal preference. I would say just try the two lite versions and see what you like. Keep in mind that these two games are shoot'em ups, while Mushihimesama is a dual-sticker shooter.

i just dl'ed both lites...going to play them now.

out of curiousity, why do you prefer espgaluda?

    thanks again!

You know, I don't really have a good answer to this question. I'm not going to try to convince you that my tastes are objectively correct (unlike what many people seem to feel the need to do). Part of it might be that I played Espgaluda first. Or maybe it's the random Japanese phrases the characters yell out vs the badly accented English ones in DDPR. I do like the setting a lot better in Esp. It's probably just a combination of these things that made the experience playing Esp more enjoyable for me. I even went back and started up both games and I still don't have a good answer for why I prefer one over the other. I apologize if this answer isn't of much help.

no, it actually helps quite a bit.

i have a similar conversation going in the bug panic thread and it's becoming pretty clear that i'll end up with both before too long.

i've spent the last hour or so reading about both games and the only thing that is consistent across all press reviews and forum threads is that everyone loves both and, as a whole, neither are preferred over the other.

    so i gave up.

i'm about to download DDR because i think the scoring system sounds intriguing and approachable but i'm sure i'll get ESP...probably sooner than later.

    thanks for the input!

As a big fan of RE4 when it was on Gamecube, I bought it on sale for $.99 a few weeks ago and am pretty disappointed by it. There are no cutscenes and half the story is cut out, with Capcom slowly adding more levels to lengthen the game. For some reason it is impossible to stay stocked up on ammo and you'll end up using all of your money on buying ammo instead of new weapons and upgrades. I know it's a RE game and you're supposed to have scarce supplies but it's absolutely ridiculous how easy it is to run out and is way worse than it was on the console game. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have bought it even on sale.

Should I get Ash or new NFS?

(the only 2D RPG I've played is Pokemon, would I find Ash as easy to grasp?)

Phoenix Wright is a steal at $1.99. Anyone who doesn't have it yet should certainly go ahead and get it.

    Question:

Is 2.8GB enough for a good game collection?

Is it easy to delete a game I am not playing and re-install it later? Will I lose save data?

What are good RPGs with a file size under 450MB?

Yeah, if you delete a game and then reinstall later you lose all save data,

Ravensword is a good RPG and it's way under 450mb.

    EDIT: Welcome to TA!!!
