Bummer... But that was actually a pretty funny line to use that quote on. Ah well, I'll stop using that one joke... For now... Also, I can't find Shatter. I was going to take a look if it had a lite version, but I can't seem to find it. And to take things a bit off topic, I'm probably going to hit Blockbuster later and rent a game while my Xbox is in repair. Any good recommendations for Wii/PS2 games? The only other console I have that they have games for there is a DS, but I think I'm set on that one for now, seeing as I'm on my second runthrough of Ace Attorney Investigations and I still have yet to make any significant progress in either Final Fantasy IV or Resident Evil.
That's just... wrong. @Somerandomdude: Not many more ideas then. 0.99 is pretty much the casual game price.
Sorry mate, you know I think you're the man. Just try to use it once every other day! ;D Shatter is on PS3 my friend, sorry for the confusion, it's on PSN. Recommended for Wii, No More Heroes 2, MadWorld, Muramasa, Red Steel 2, Mario Galaxy 1/2, Zack & Wiki, De Blob. Plus a few more! ;D
since i'm really cheap does anyone wana gift me phoenix wright, game dev story, or galaxy on fire 2? *inserts cute begging face of a cat*
Just say "She said that" instead. It has the same effect and messes people up. Guy 1: I can't seem to find the plug Guy 2: She said that! Guy 1: wha... Oh haha
Phoenix Wright. It may be mostly focused on the court system and stuff, but the storylines all incorperate murder mysteries, and are some of the best I've played. @Sammysin, thanks for the recommendations, but I actually ended up not even going. Turns out I probably won't get Black Ops as an early b-day present like I had hoped, so I have to save whatever money I have to use on it. Ah well, I pulled out some old PS2 games, and that should more than suffice for now. Btw, I was most likely going to get either Dead Space Extraction or House of the Dead 2/3 if I rented a Wii game, with a possibility of Okami seeing as all my friends who've played it think it's one of the greatest games ever. Which one would you recommend for future reference?
What A7X song pack, the one on Rock Band 2 with Seize the Day, Scream and Nightmare, or something else which I would like to know considering I'm a big fan. Depends what songs you like tbh, if the above is correct scream is terrible imo so pass on that song and just get the other 2.
That's a really nice recommendation, but i finished the 4 of them (5 if you count AAI) on the DS. I got the first 1 on iOS and replayed it recently.
It was the 2 song pack with Almost Easy and Bat Country (although I wish they had picked some lesser-known songs... Those definitely aren't their best, although they are awesome) on Tap Tap Revenge 3. Ok, you are officially awesome. I'm still working my way through Justice for All right now, just got to Moe's testimony in Case 3. I heard they're making an Ace Attorney Investigations 2, so that's definitely something to keep an eye out for. Have you tried Broken Sword yet? It may not exactly be a mystery game, but it's insane nonetheless.
I might... I can't remember if they had it at the local Blockbuster or not. Was there any nudity in that game? That's the only thing that'd keep me from playing that one. And I'm actually leaning towards either HotD 2/3 out of the fact that I loved those in the arcade (HotD1 is one of the few I've beaten the arcade machine of), or Dead Space Extraction as it looks like a nice, original take on the on-rails shooter genre, a genre I've loved since I was a kid playing Time Crisis 2 when it was still new.
Like I said, man, they're not that big of a deal. You'll be reading the text 99% of the time, and the other 1% is pointing stuff out on a map. The only thing the drawings do, really, is just to give an idea of what the character is like, and shows their expressions, which you can tell from a quick glance. They're more or less there for people like me who enjoy that sort of look.
There's tonnes of swearing mate. I'd say you won't go wrong with Extraction, I enjoyed blasting my way through it and it has a horde mode!
Language isn't an issue anymore. As long as it's not blasting through the house (which it won't be since I'll turn the TV down), it's not a huge problem. But I think I might end up going with Extraction anyway, just because it's an original on-rails shooter. Actually, forget it. I just realized Goldeneye was out for the Wii, and that's the one game I want for it now. There is. It's called putting a piece of paper over the top screen. Or just not looking.
Meh, Almost Easy is pretty bad, Bat Country is good though. Needed to be something off waking the fallen imo but that's too not mainstream for Tap Tap.
