@blake Regarding Phoenix, I've certainly been enjoying it. SHMUPS are a favorite of mine, Espgaluda and DoDonPachi are two of my favorite iOS games of any genre. Phoenix isn't as bullet-hellish as those, and is nice because it's inherently NOT like the aforementioned favorites of mine, which have several levels part of a mission/story. More of a pick up and play SHMUP to kill a bit of time. The Doodle Jump of SHMUPS as it were. I think it was the toucharcade review that said it really grew on them.. and that's definitely how I feel. Solid game, keeps it interesting. Age of Zombies, on the other hand, sucked me in, loved the story, final boss pretty intense. Halfbrick being the devs, we should see some awesome updates.
Well it depends on what your preferences are. If you like beat-em-ups with plenty of blood and gore and breath-takingly beautiful combos then go for Samurai II. If you like dual-stick shooters with an interesting story and beautiful Sci-fi graphics, gameplay and content then by all means choose Revolt. Revolt also will happen to be a dollar cheaper than Samurai II on release.
any 59p/$1 games that have a lot of content and are good i have wesnoth and a few others not interested in scc though
Should I get Plants vs Zombies? It says there are only 50 levels. I need something with more bang for my buck. Or can you guys recommend me another game worth only a buck?
Are you kidding? Those 50 levels are worth waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than a buck! Please, for the love of all things good and righteous in this world, BUY IT!
@uberblake The controls on Ecco can be a bit maddening IMO. Need to give it another go around though. It's been a while. Bought it as soon as it hit app store... tons of nostalgia i suppose.
Time Geeks! Edit: NVM, you were a beta tester. How about Amazon: Hidden Expedition? It's on sale right now.
Hey i need a game with great replayability, possibly a multiplayer, and a story mode i dont like games like wesnoth though.
