WTF are you smoking? Minisquadron, and its sequel, are both some of the best DSS's I've played on the iOS. I guess this definitely emphasizes the difference of opinions between people.
Battle for Wesnoth for .99? I never really play turn-based strategies. I thought Highborn was okay but deleted it when I was stuck for a while.
It depends because it sounds like you aren't too fond of TBS's. How did you get stuck in Highborn? Personally, for anybody else, I would say buy it in a heartbeat. Like I said in another post, buying this game for .99 is like stealing a bank because of all the quality and quantity you get, and this isn't meant to be an exaggeration.
Oh no, I meant HOW you got stuck. Were you struggling to beat it? Did you not know where to go? Etc...
1st one. Well actually I died a few times and then I forgot about the game. sorry i keep editing i keep remembering i was wrong and changing my post
Well I'd definitely recommend trying out Wesnoth then. Wesnoth definitely helps the player avoid situations where you're struggling to defeat the AI. I'll list out some reasons later if you need them. But I'd definitely suggest Wesnoth for .99 though.
First off, a belated thanks to those who replied to my two player board games question. The games suggested were great. Now, another question for you all. Well, really, three questions about three different games I'm looking to buy. 1. I'm looking for a trivia game with "hard" questions. What I mean by that is a game that is more focused on subjects like science, history, and other academic stuff than areas like sports and pop culture. The Jeopardy! game on the app store is an obvious choice, but it has not received good reviews, so I'm not going to get that one. 2. I'm looking for a very hard puzzle game. The puzzles can be either timed or untimed. That part doesn't matter. But I'd like a good mental challenge. 3. I'd like a good Wheel of Fortune or hangman type game that isn't the actual Wheel of Fortune game. LOL. Again, just like Jeopardy!, the Wheel game has received pretty poor reviews. And there are quite a few hangman type games on the app store with mixed reviews, so it's hard to know what to buy. Thanks in advance.
@Scrooge 1. I guess you can check out 'Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader' or maybe even 'Family Feud', though it's not based on academic subjects. 2. 'Trainyard' is a very good game, and can get really difficult. So if you don't have that, definitely check it out. Also check out 'No, Human'. It's not insanely difficult, but it's a very nice game to play. 3. Sorry, I don't know any for these
Unfortunately I already have the incident, and the otheres don't appeal to me Any more suggestions? (2 99cers or 1 1.99)
