I'm not a huge fan of FPSes on the idevice so I think cod:z will keep me satisfied on that front. Things I don't have that I'm debating: Osmos, Zenonia 2 aaaaand hmm what else?
Not to mention it has a decent number of achievements, secrets, speed run mode and whatever else. Don't think it won't last too long.
Is that sarcasm? I'm just not a huge platformer guy. I like the random ones like monster dash since I can pick it up and play a different game each time, ya know? Does it have good replay value?
He wasn't being sarcastic. There are plenty of things to keep you coming back. Achievements, Collectibles and Speed Runs to perfect.
No I'm being serious, I play it quite a lot. Most levels take between 2-5 minutes to complete, so I often just pick it up and play a level or two and try to get an achievement while waiting for something. However, unlike monster dash, the levels are not randomized. This didn't impact the gameplay for me, as I think it's good enough already, but if you are more a fan of random stages, that may impact your thoughts on the game. Random levels wouldn't be possible anyway, or they would be crappy.
Trying to decide between Gamevil's Baseball Superstars 2010 and Soccer Superstars. Anybody have an opinion of which game is better?
Hey guys. Need some quick help on what to get of the on-sale games. Budget limit is let's say $15. RPGs and platformers preferred. Thanks!
I am not a baseball fan and I LOVE baseball superstars, so that should be an indicator of how awesome it it. I have not played Soccer one so no clue. I think baseball superstars 2011 is in beta now.
OK Help!! Out of all these: Civilization Revolution ($6.99 -> $0.99) Soccer Superstars ($2.99 -> $0.99) 9 Innings: Pro Baseball 2011 ($4.99 -> $0.99) Baseball Superstars 2010 ($2.99 -> $0.99) Need for Speed Shift ($6.99 -> $0.99) Bookworm ($2.99 -> $0.99) Geometry Wars: Touch ($4.99 -> $0.99) UniversalPuzzle Agent ($4.99 -> $0.99) Monkey Island 2 Special Edition ($2.99 -> $0.99) The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition ($2.99 -> $0.99) Doom II RPG ($3.99 -> $0.99) Assassin's Creed II ($5.99 -> $0.99) Zombie Infection ($2.99 -> $0.99) Peggle ($2.99 -> $0.99) Which ones should I like really, really, REALLY REALLY NEED. Oh and does Archetype have like a single player campaign mode? Is it worth it even if I can't play online alot?
@ninjackid No, if you can't play Archetype online, it's definitely not worth it There is an offline tutorial mode, but all you do is go around shooting wood cutouts
