Why don't you just wait for MGS2 or NOVA2 if you are planning to get NOVA or COD. I know it'll take a while, but that's why i haven't bought the other ones so far.
those are 2 of my favorite games available and i definitely strongly recommend both. very strongly. if you want something nice, peaceful & beautiful, kometen might be worth checking out. not so much a game as an interactive art project...it's not driven by any sort of story and there really aren't a whole lot of objectives per se...but it has spectacular hand drawn watercolor graphics and wonderful music...i think it's really cool, but its definitely not for everyone. zb2 & osmos are amazing games...if you have any interest at all, you should go for both...
Just bought it on a whim. I've played one game so far, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. There is a definite learning curve that may take a read through or two of the rules to get a decent understanding of the gameplay. An interactive tutorial would be nice, but I think after a couple games, it'll be easier to play. As someone said in the main thread, a lot of it just comes down to understanding the symbols on each of the cards. That being said, there seems to be a lot of potential for really good strategy in here. If you're willing to suffer a bit of confusion for a bit and strategy board games are your thing, then yes, get it.
Graveyard Shift of course...and try to reach the time and number of moves medals in every level in order to have more fun and challenge! IMHO
Kometen definitely looks interesting. Quick question about it, does it show any progress? Or do you just keep flying around eating stuff?
Blaze: Fire Puzzle is exactly the game you are looking for. It is a relaxing game similar to Zen Bound. Check out the front page article here on TA and try the lite version.
Your welcome! I just got it this morning and have been playing it non-stop ever since. I like how there is a bronze/silver/gold ranking for each level which adds replay value, along with many achievements to unlock. Let me know how you like the lite!
no progress. you fly around eating stuff. there are 15-20 discoverable solar systems that apparently all have a different style to them. i've found a couple of them...the universe is quite large. there is a waypoint marker that gives you direction...it starts marked on the nearest solar system and can be moved. i turned it off...there's not a whole lot to do, i might as well do it myself. there really isn't a whole lot of gameplay but it's relaxing with great visuals and wonderful music. there is a gauge in the menu that fills up over time...i'm really not sure what makes it fill up, but it could be progress-related. i've only played a bit...
I tried the lite, and I gotta say that it's a nice game, but it's not the type of game that I'm looking for right now I'm looking for a more peaceful game, but the game's timer and the fact that candles can burn out kind of removes that 'peaceful' factor But I will definitely keep an eye on it for the future. Oh okay, thanks for the info. Guess I'll read up on it a bit
