Geez... some people really need their arms twisted... JCS is pretty much universally loved in this forum. It got a great review from TA and is consistently mentioned as one of the best games on the platform. What else do you need? You waiting for it to go free?
Yeah basically... lol Thanks for the thoughts. I'm just the type of guy who has to be absolutely sure he won't regret a purchase before he buys it. JCS going free would be nice, though.
Okay well I suppose the one gripe some people have is that it has a learning curve that may be a little tough compared to other games. I think the learning curve complaints are blown out of proportion though. It takes a little time to get used to, but once you are familiar with the controls and mechanics it is tons of fun. There are tutorials and different difficulty settings so I really don't think it is a problem for most, but some do get frustrated. Once you get the hang of it, it really is a blast. It's a highly regarded game and I am surprised it acutally went on sale for $.99 and would highly doubt it goes free unless maybe a Black Friday sale or something. It would be really hard to think of a better game for a buck. Hope that helps

I don't have it but I've been looking at Xenome for awhile and now that it's 1/2 off I'll probably pick it up. I read a chunk of the game thread and it sounds pretty good, the one complaint being the terrain is a little barren... but I think that sort of fits with a post-apocolyptic theme. I want to pick up the Monkey Island Games because they are really good deals... like 6-7 dollars off. But I've never been a fan of point and click games and don't really see myself getting into it. I don't know how similar they are but I do like Phoenix Wright... to people who have played them, are they at all similar?
Not at all similar but try the lite of Monkey Island 2. And wait until the glitch with saves in the updates has been fixed before playing too much.
Xenome Ep. 1 looks very good, I'd say. I don't have it, but it looks great as far as Open-worldness goes.
