Um definitely don't get hero of sparta 2, its crap. Spiderman isn't the most fun game you could think of either but it's definitely better than HoS2. Sorry, don't have comments on 4g retina, yet. One more week and I'll have the 4th gen itouch.
I actually enjoyed Hero of Sparta II quite a bit. From what I hear it's not Spiderman, but it's definitely one of the better action games on the platform. Honestly, you wouldn't be making a bad purchase if you went with HOS2.
Thanks for all the opinions. I've decided to get Hero of Sparta 2 now and will get Spiderman next week. bactothis- I'm sure you're going to love the new iPod. I was at the Apple store Saturday getting my iPhone 4 and was checking out the iPod while waiting in line. It's a very nice device, really couldn't believe how exceptionally light and thin it was.
Sounds like a good plan. It sounds like either way you can't go wrong. And I'll probably get a new iDevice this year... I'm tossed up though as to whether to get an iPod Touch 4 and a mediocre phone (w/ texting keyboard, as always), or an iPhone 4 and have it all in one. My phone just broke this weekend and I need a new one. Desparately.
Get the iPhone 4. I can't put mine down. Ever. I think the battery is already suffering because of my heavy usage. I wish apple had some official battery replacement program
That sounds like a good plan so far. The only thing that bothers me is the contract. My family (I included) isn't a big fan of phone contracts. We've been going with the pay-as-you-go plans that most phones seem to have these days, which is an option that the iPhone doesn't seem to have so far. Depending on price difference and plans, I might end up going with the iPod 4, but hopefully all goes well and I can have my phone and iPod all in one device.
I don't have Solomon's Keep either (but Solomon's Boneyard is a prequel anyways), and SB is a really addicting game, mostly because of all the unlockables. Get it, cuz its and awesome dss.
Yeah if you're used to pay as you go plans definitely make sure you know what you're getting into before signing a 2 year contract. It adds up.. I like having one device really only because I wouldn't want to have to carry two things around everywhere I go and the iPhone is king of multi-functional devices! The drawback though is you have to be conscious of the battery when you don't have access to a charger. Been a few times I got carried away playing a game or watching a movie and then my phone died, which sucks. Wouldn't be as big a deal with a touch. I just ordered one of these: http://www.exogear.com/products-iphone-4.html
Yeah, it's a huge annoyance having to carry around both a phone and an iPod at times, like at school. I hate having to manage both devices, and it gets pretty maddening trying to make sure you have both on you. Plus, it seems like it's much harder to break an iPhone 4 than my LG Neon (which basically just came apart and was held by a cord that ripped about a month later). Let's just hope those contracts aren't too bad.
Like I've been saying all day: GET IT NOW! There's no need to play the first game in order to understand what's going on (although, if I remember correctly, there are some references to the first, and it does help to play the first), and is probably the best adventure game on the App Store.
Write me a 3 page essay persuading me to get this game even though i'm not a fan of point and click adventures.
I'll consider it. Maybe a 3 paragraph one will suffice... Tomorrow. 'Tis getting late and I have a bit of homework left to do. I win again! And as I've asked before, I have aout $12 to spend. I'm considering Castlevania Puzzle and Phantasy Star II. Any opinions?
