not really lol I've had it since it came out and it's pretty whatever, most of the games are extremely low quality
Super Quickhook ($2.99)is great. It doesn't have retina display, but it doesn't really need it seeing as its a 16 bit game. Jet Car Stunts ($1.99) is a really cool racing game that has retina display. Thats really all I can think of.
alright, so i've got $10... i'm really attracted to labyrinth 2's visual style. i think it's pretty incredible. on that same note, i'm interested in trying touchgrind as well. also getting curious about SI:IG...tried the lite and i don't understand what the hype is all about. am i missing something? does the full version take the game to a different level? EVERYONE recommends this game and while i'm not an enormous fan of the genre, i am always a fan of a great game...is this one? so, 1 of these three, 2 of these three or something else all together...any help is appreciated... labyrinth 2 touchgrind SI:IG thanks!
I just so happen to own all three of those! I really didn't like SI:IG either. The level/enemy design is just boring. Touchgrind is fun for a while once you get used to it, but gets old quickly, due to the lack of more than one skate park. Labyrinth 2, on the other hand, is challenging, fun, has a great level creator/sharer online, and the physics are spot-on. I recommend it to everyone. And as for other $5 games, Space Miner and Phoenix Wright are both outstanding.
thanks for the feedback... i bought touchgrind an hour or two ago...watched a couple youtube vids and couldn't resist. super fun, but i can see it getting old once i develop some skill. i just bought labyrinth 2. already have the two you mentioned. love space miner, just warming up in phoenix wright. thanks again!
I think the unique feature of Infinity Gene is the custom level based off user music. The levels are based off the music you choose and you can even submit scores for each song. Like playing an Eminem song has a level waaay different than a disturbed song. To access it you have to go into sound / music settings then you can pick the song you wanna create a level off of. I do find my finger getting in the way though which can be aggravating.
