heavy mach 2 is crap sword and poker is outstanding but you should get battle blasters. its 3 dollars and there is no lite. but trust me, its fantastic!
I have been debating whether or not to get Battle Blasters for awhile and I have seen around the forums that you are very fond of it (and in your sig ). What makes it so good? It looks pretty fun but I would have liked it more if there was a lite to try.
Oookk... time to explain the awesomeness. This one feels like a real 2d fighter. Even though you never actually go up to your opponent and hit them or combo on them, like in most fighters, it really feels like you're playing a fighter in the arcade. While each character has only 4 attacks (quick, strong, special, and deflect), they vary greatly. Their specials and stats differ enough to make it feel like you're not just fighting the same thing with a different skin on it. It brings a ton of replay value to the game. It takes a lot to master each character's abilities to their full potential, and to be able to effectively use them against each character. Plus there's same device and local multiplayer, with plans to add online multiplayer and more content. Just go buy it.
yea, when i first bought it i wanted a lite too. but really just buy it. so its a 1v1 head to head shooting thing. i dont really know how to explain it really. tA did a review of it if you wanna check that out, and the vid should explain it all. its just so unique to the iphone, so polished and tons of replayability. im actually about to start beta testing for a bluetooth multiplayer update coming soon.
Do you know how long it will be until they add online multiplayer? That would probably put it at the top of my list.
Speaking of that game, how much better is it than the lite version? I really like the lite version but I get EXTREMELY frusterated at that game when I could end up killing my opponent but then I'm one card short or the computer puts the cards down right where I was going to get a 4 of a kind... Kinda got off topic there, but just curious how much better it is than the lite.
ummmmm..... are you asking if the lite is different from the full. its not. just full has 36 floors. tons of content.
Well I didnt play the lite... The one card short part is what makes poker hard In terms of length, I've prolly played it for 2-2.5 hours and I'm not done with it. Also I played one floor twice (I lost stupidly) and it was just as fun the second time around. So were you talking about the difficulty or what?
You've done this on pretty much every thread at this point... please knock it off. Nah, just that 1 card short thing always gets me. I always have 1 card short of a full house or a 4 of a kind or something crazy like that, then the computer takes the spot where it was going to go, and then I get the card I need next turn. And then I consider throwing my iPod but then remember that it's probably not a good idea.
Oh well thats what makes the game a challenge eh? But I try not to plan out my attack, I just go with it. I am no schemer. Joker taught me well. Does the light version have shields, special powers, and more weapons?
Shields? Special Powers? MORE WEAPONS? Sounds cool, I might get it. And I play chess quite a bit so it might be getting to me, even though I'm not too good at it. I should stick to my regular poker plan of get rid of the cards I don't need and stick with the ones I do.
