I was NOT very impressed with Beneath a Steel Sky. After a while, the plot became very uninteresting, and the puzzles weren't straightforward at all (meaning I had to go UP to a room that I had forgotten about to use an item that I had no idea could be used there in order to go DOWN.); I had to force myself to keep playing. But Monkey Island looks much better. Tell me, is it worth the 8 bucks to someone who didn't like BASS?
If it's the first time you've ever played a Monkey Island games, by all means, get both. Both are truly fantastic games. If you only have money for one, get the second one first, as it's a bit better of a game. Seeing as the games can be played out of order, you can always go back for the first one. Although, if you want to go in order, the first one is a great game as well.
Should I get carcassone? I've heard pretty good things about it, but I am just not sure to click the buy button, and I hear it's getting gamecenter soon as well. Or is there some other combination of apps that add up to $5 that are better?
If you like turn-based strategy or board games of any kind, I highly recommend Carcassonne. It's deep, accessible, and competitive. The AI is also amazing, and online matches are a snap to set up. If you're on the fence, I say go for it. Hey, look at that! This is my 200th post!
All opinions are important to me also, thanks for helping me out both of you, I decided on purchasing it
whoop whoop! I made a carcassonne group a while back. Tons of people have been posting their emails so they can play asynchronously. here is mine: [email protected] add me!
