@Mirror's Edge: It's such an amazing experience, that I heartily recommend it. Besides, it's not too short
This is just my opinion, so no haters should hate on me. I wouldn't recommend getting Mirror's Edge, there's one thing about it that many seem to be failing to admit: it not only IS 9 months old, but it FEELS 9 months old. The controls work, but there's a lag to them that's unsatisfying (especially during combat). And although there are bags and whatnot to collect, I personally don't feel that replaying a level and exploring really suits what this game is all about. Content (to me) is more levels, not making you do things the character isn't good at (like slow platforming). The game looks great, but it just honestly feels OLD. If they had spent the last 9 months tightening up the experience, I'd be more inclined to recommend it. But it doesn't feel like they've made it more current, or did anything at all. It's as though EA just held it in their vault for no reason. If you just want good graphics and stiff controls and to replay the minimal levels over and over again, definitely get Mirror's Edge. If you don't want to feel like you're playing an aged, slower-paced game, skip it.
hey anyone know any awesome games that haven't received much hype or aren't in the top 100/200 i have a £10 gift card so money not to much of a problem
ok tiltmytouch ure a bastard u know why because u made me get hoppy and now im f-ing addicted................... and btw everyone get hoppy its so simple and so awesome
Is Monkey Island 2 worth getting if I've beaten the original version on the PC? I enjoyed the special edition of MI1, and I'm wondering if it's worth the money to get the second one, mostly for the updated graphics and voice acting.
any good games with level editor other than blast moki and crush the castle and also still got money to send on games that aren't in the top 200
Skate It has a decent level editor. It's a shame they removed all customization from THPS2 though, since that had one of the best level editors I've ever used.
yes i will and i will burn u @somerandomdude yeh although that's not really my kinda game i skate but just don't like skating games :/ @lordvader u can change the control scheme
There is a touch control available, as well. But yeah, Hoppy plays extremely smoothly on even the oldest iDevices, so good to hear it runs smoothly on the newer ones, too.
i need a clock app for my ipod touch so my ipod can wake me up with my music. damn apple my ipod mini was able to do that the best thing would be a free one
