I have $5 to spend right now, so my big question is Phantasy Star II or Shining Force? I'm leaning towards Phantasy Star myself, seeing as I could always use more RPG's. And also, what should I get with the remaining $2? Either a good $2 or a good $1 game, seeing as I'm considering The Crimsons as well.

You could get both, I would probably pick up Shining Force if I had to pick one right now since it's on sale. ;)

Yes it's totally worth it. Imho, it's the best sega game for iPhone, probably done by a different team releasing those clumsy Genesis 'ports'.

I actually feel like playing a proper game with heaps of levels, replay save features, different characters and minigames (yes, it was a few months late but SEGA delivered their promise).

Check out Appsniper or Bargain Bin, very useful apps to track down sales / price history :)

Should I get Golden Axe, Streets of Rage or Ecco the dolphin?

Which of the three runs best on iPhone 3G? (I won't expect 30fps, just want to know which one has better performance)

Wow... how convenient! I guess I'll be picking up both.

Also, does Shining Force feel more like an RPG than Eustrath does? It's an awesome game, but feels a bit more like a strategy game than an RPG.

EDIT: Just took a look at some Phantasy Star II gameplay, and I'm not 100% sure if I want it right now. I'm trying to decide between that and Predators right now. Is there any sort of tutorial or help in PS2? If not, I might pass seeing as it looks like quite a complex game.

EDIT 2: I just saw Corporate Fury... And now I have good competition for that $2 game slot. Now my choices for the $3 game are Phantasy Star II and Predators (leaning more towards PS2), and Corporate Fury and Shining Force for the $2 game (leaning a bit towards Corporate Fury). Also, I'll be getting a $10 code when Hybrid 2 comes out, half of which will be going to Hybrid 2 (if it should release at a $5 price tag), so it's more or less a matter of what I want now and what I'd rather pick up later.

With the new mini games just added in a recent update it is worth it. I doubt that game will get any cheaper this year.

Definitely. Even if you have the first game, the sequel is much better.

And also, I think I've made my decision for now. I'm planningto spend $4 now on Shining Force, Corporate Fury and another $1 game, then pick up Phantasy Star Ii and Predators or Castlevania Puzzle and another $1 or 2 game depending on of O get another $1 game now. Any opinions?

is zombieville still worth getting if I havn't gotten after all this time? because i have gotten alot of other good side scrolling shooters and i think that zombieville is only still on the app store because it's considered a classic?

yeah its still worth getting although it doesn't quite have the same appeal it once did. Since its release so many other good sidescroller games have flooded the store that are more deep in gameplay. I would say you should get it but not as a priority, make sure you get other good games that you want and then if you have extra credit left over get Zombieville.

Hahaha! Legend man. I've never been lucky enough to win anything. In fact the only thing I can remember winning in the past few years is Fragger for iPhone/Touch and I didn't even enter that contest? ;)

There's also InkVaders, which while adding a few things to the genre isn't necesarily better. It's a fun game (from what I've played of the lite), but it just doesn't beat Zombieville. Both have lite versions, so I suggest giving both a shot and seeing which one appeals to you more.

    And I'm still wondering about:
