Get Canabalt now. Alternatively, Monster Dash is pretty good if you're not sure you want to take the plunge.
If it helps I've definitely played Monster Dash for more than 20 minutes since I got it, and I usually don't like high-score games. Something about it just keeps me coming back even though I suck compared to leaderboard standards, I haven't even broken 4k yet I keep playing, blasting monsters and jumping over spikes has never been so fun.
+1 I've played Cababalt for hours, probably over 5 hours, which is a lot for a running game where most runs end in anywhere from30 seconds to several minutes. The music is amazing too. Monster Rush is a fun little game, but that's just what it feels like to me, another game in the genre that is pretty good but not yet great. The Incident is also a great game, but it really depends on whether you want a get higher game or a running game.
Thanks for your opinions guys. I guess I may as well just go ahead and grab Canabalt over the imitators, although I heard it wasn't running well? Maybe that is just on iOS 4.0 and above though, huh?
RottenCity or The Crimsons? I'm leaning more towards The Crimsons myself, but if RottenCity is a better game overall, I'd prefer to get that. I enjoy both kinds of games equally, so it just depends on what the overall better game is. And should I go for The Creature of Havok (the only Fighting Fantasy book I don't have) or the one Sorcery! book on the App Store? I'd prefer a more in-depth game, so if there's one that's more in-depth, I'd much prefer it.
