I have $25. I'd like to spend it on iPad games.
Here's what I already have: Godfinger, parcel panic, Plants vs Zombies, wesnoth, Galcon Fusion, harbor master, real racing, prince of Persia retro, pukk, and pocket legends.

Basically, you play as a small organism who must absorb smaller ones and avoid being absorbed by larger ones in order to get as big as possible. It's relaxing, especially if you wear headphones, yet stressful at the same time. The game takes a lot of thought because every little move you make shrinks you by a small amount. You'll come across situations where you'll be unsure if you have enough momentum to touch a mote that it barely smaller than you before it absorbs another one and grows to twice your size, or whether it's worth it to skim an antimatter blob and sacrifice some of your mass to grab a mote that will get you big enough to proceed. If the campaign, or "Odyssey" mode isn't long enough for you, you can customize and play randomly generated levels in "Arcade" mode.

Hey guys, first time poster. I just got a free iPod touch 2nd gen and am getting an iPhone 4 in about a month. I got $30 and made a big collection already, but I'm hunting for some larger games.

Also, I'm desperate for something like OMG Pirates. Not Inkvaders and Zombieville USA, a real beat 'em up.

I just want some games with a large amount of quality like Osmos, OMG Pirates, Samurai Way of the Warrior, Zen Bound 2...

    Thanks!

War of Eustrath, Battle for Wesnoth (not the most beautiful game, but a LOT of content), Grokion, Ragdoll Blaster 2, Plunderland

Anything from Kieffer Bros. is high quality. Try Aqueduct. Also EcoPunk is a pretty polished game for only .99.

I'd also recommend Helsing's Fire and Baseball Superstars 2010

WoE doesn't appeal, but I'll look into BfW and RB2. I have Plunderland. Aqueduct looks interesting, I have Helsing's Fire and I'll check out Baseball S2.

What about games like OMG Pirates? Any suggestions on that end?

Fastar (Which I own) doesn't really have much in terms of combos and the like. I'm looking for something like a beat 'em up, streets of rage style, which OMG! Pirates does really really well.

I'm looking for a game where I can create my character and just build him and live in the world. Something really in depth where my character means something and I can keep coming back to him, maybe doing missions, getting gear, or just living. I don't mean something just like The Quest - any game that features continual character development that I can sink time into will do great.

    Welcome to TouchArcade!

Jet Car Stunts, Phoenix Wright, Space Miner, Super QuickHook, and Tilt to Live are all must-have games that everyone should own.
