    And here is mine:
If you want something better than Eliminate get: Archetype for 2.99
If you are looking for a great Metriodvania/Megaman type game than get: Grokion for $0.99 before episode two comes out!
If you want something better than Canabalt get: 2012 Doomsday Escape for just 99 cents
If you want a great FPS get: The Infinity Project for only 3.99
(trust me its worth every penny;))
If you want a great dual stick shooter get: iDracula for 2.99 and/or BloodnGuns now for Free!

games I have brought ( new iphone user)

Hi Iam exgamer Iam prettty new to iphone. Iam going to say the games on iphone blows away other cell games by far. Iam more into games that are either quick and easy to get into or something based on a console favorite. This is my list of must have games.

Streetfight5 .... pretty pricy but amazing , Iam biased I must say because I love the franchise. In saying so if your willing to fork over the extra money and you like streetfighter, you be satisfied. I was really impressed with this one. But to be fair its missing 4 charactors from the console and some of the animations.

WoBong.... 2 games in 1. I like original games instead of boring part12 in a series unless its streetfighter or resident evil. WoBong is 2 games, fun, funny animations and probaly be the next craze or hit game. I called it 1st!! I dont want anyone else saying they found this gem 1st.

Canabalt...whenever I need a rush , I play canabalt. It could use some extra features I will admit, but if you like the flash game you like this. I suggest to anyone to play the flash version 1st. If you like it, then you can support the developer.

Well thats my review of the games I have so far. Iam glad to be here and meet all you guys and try some of the games everyone here has suggested. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

turn-based games for long distance play

Hey all! I'm new to the iPhone world, and loving it.

I have some friends in other states with iPhones, and I want to find some games that can be played with them. Turn-based would be best since we won't always be logging in at the same time.

    What are the favorites?

Thanks for helping out a newbie!

    Hey, welcome to TA.

I think GTA: Chinatown Wars is a game you would really like. Tons of content to last you a long time.

Also just to post a couple quick pick up and play games:

    Fruit Ninja
    Flight Control
    Harbor Master
    Pix'n Rush
    Peggle
    Angry Birds

Hey I was wondering is there a game that's very similar to command and conquer and Starcraft? (besides command and conquer I know that's there)

    Thanks!

Warfare Inc. seems to be the game for you. There's also Red Conquest (a space-based RTS) and Land Air Sea Warfare (a present day RTS).

Those seem to be the three best RTSs at the moment.

I checked out Land air the other day. Seems awesome. I'll check out the warfare one, but red conquest isn't my type of game from what I've seen previously.

    Thanks!

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
If you're looking for online multiplayer, Armada has been the only RTS I've actually been able to get myself into. Check it out sometime.

And are there any other simple RTS games, or RTS's that don't involve gigantic armies of hundreds of units at one time? I've always wanted to get into RTS games, but the ones involving gigantic units have always just been too overwhelming for me to get into.

Go to the App Store. Go to Categories. Go to Games. Go to every section except the Strategy and All Games section. Buy any game you see that was recommended in these forums. Congratulations.

That's such a broad category that I can't really go wrong with what I recommend.
