Super QuickHook. Don't even THINK about choosing Hook Champ instead. It cannot even compare to the awesomeness of SQH.
By the way, I've heard alot of good things about Fastar! Could someone explain to me what type of game this is and whether I should get it or not?
It's a casual action RPG. Basically you have to complete one of several game modes as quickly as you can in order to place on the high-score boards, occasionally stopping at towns where you can heal and upgrade attack/defense. On your way, you'll fight different squares of colors and sizes with different stats and patterns, making each type distinct. And you should definitely get it.
Yeah, I've been reading a lot of reviews since I posted that post... It definitely looks like and awesome game. Is there a sale going on right now or is 99c the permanent price for this game? In other words, should I buy it RIGHT NOW or can I wait till like later this week?
Take it from someone who is a master at buying games cheap: Successful .99 games aren't going to drop to free any time within release. Judging from Fastar, it probably won't drop to free EVER. Just get it now, .99 might actually even be its introductory price.
Yeah actually what I basically meant was: when does it go up in price? Seeing as .99 is apparently it's intro price. Anyways! I might just give in and buy this game. (it should be noted that it takes a lot for me to give in and buy a game lol)
Same here. Even if it's just .99, I wait. Since I have $30 on my account and don't like using my parent's credit card, no matter how cheap a game is I always wait and check my options. But yeah, you might as well get Fastar! now before it's too late and it jumps in price. After all, with such a huge positive feedback base, you have little chance that it'll turn into a bad decision. Then again, Phoenix Wright was a "good" game......
Agh! That's the last straw! I'm giving in and buying it! This had better be good Looks like a fun game, anyways...
Oh I don't know, I don't have the games. But they probably have the same controls....I doubt they'd just change it from one game to another.
Should I get Hero of Sparta 2? Is it a decent length and is the combat and controls good? Also I heard about the arena, is it a survival mode that keeps getting harder and lasts forever? And is it worth the price? Thanks. Oh, also if you don't recommend it what are some really good long action adventure or puzzle games that you recommend, I'm going ona 4-5 hour car ride on friday and need something to play. Thanks again.
If Hero of Sparta 2 is anything like Hero of Sparta, I wouldn't suggest it. All you do is run, kill, increase your health and mana, and repeat. If I didn't like the game when I got it FOR FREE, then Hero of Sparta 2 and Gameloft's usual $5-8 introductory price isn't warrant for a purchase. As for your car ride... Battle of Wesnoth Battle of Wesnoth Hoppy Hoppy Hoppy Battle of Wesnoth Battle of Wesnoth Battle of Wesnoth Hoppy Battle of Wesnoth AND... Battle of Wesnoth AS WELL AS... Battle of Wesnoth ALONG WITH... Hoppy Hoppy Battle of Wesnoth Hoppy
Yeah, when I first got Hero of Sparta I really liked it but if Hero of Sparta 2 doesn't have the survival mode I'll just wait for a price drop. Lol, I've got hoppy and have to say it is an awesome game, I'll check out battle for wesnoth, I read in one of the reviews that it's like heroscape which I like to play so I'll see if I can find some gameplay videos.
Battle of Wesnoth is the best TBS in the App Store. With over 300 hours of unique gameplay, at $5 it should actually be considered a super-mega-ultra-steal.
Seeing as you enjoyed Hero of Sparta 1, II is a no-brainer. It's a huge improvement over the original, although I havn't seen or heard anything about an arena mode yet. Then again, I'm not all that far into it yet. The controls feel great, the combat is much, much less repetitive than in the original, and there are a bunch of new additions that make it way more fun.
