Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

I have €3.99 ($4.99) and I was wondering what's a good game for that price. I have a few in mind but want to see suggestions.

 

What were the few you had in mind? It might be easier to help you decide if you listed them.

 

Quick, name the first 99 cent games that comes to your mind.

 

land sea air warfare, geometry wars, tony hawk..... They were the main three. Oh soccer superstars.

 

Of those three, definitely THPS2. If you want another recommendation for $5 games, try Phoenix Wright. Even though it doesn't seem to be for everyone, a surprising amount of people seem to be enjoying it.

 

If Dark Void is on sale, then Dark Void. Otherwise Grokion.

And make sure you pick up Zombie Shock and Highborn!

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about Fastar. Fun game, even though I've only beaten Training and Easy modes.

And why would I play a game like this when I could read a book about doing the same thing?

 

Unfortunately, I actually don't think there's a book about a bouncing red ball trying to avoid the other balls.

I see that everything is mentioned many times. I would add only one game - WristBreaker. Truly innovative Tetris-clone with tilt control and lots of powerup's.

So, should i get Plunderland? To people who have it, if the price dropped, would you be dissapointed?
