Again, graphics isn't everything we're ranting about. But besides, when you're reading a book, it's not like you can still look at the poor art on the cover. You flipped it open, the cover is facing down! With PW, you can't do that. Flip your iPod down, you flip the game down.
Put a peice of paper on the top half of the ipod? Still can't believe graphics are keeping people from playing this game. It's like me not using my iPhone 4 to play games because it has antenna problems. I have a feeling it's deeper than this. Maybe it's because you...don't like reading!
Sorry for the commas, I'm tired and English is clearly not my native language. And about the book metaphor, TiltMyTouch was right, you don't see images on every page of a book (unless you're about six years old - in that case, sorry). #8085: I love reading, but I get a lot higher quality story in a good book than in a game.
It's cool, I do it on important essays all the time Okay I guess it was a bad analogy. It's like not banging Megan Fox because you don't like the sound of her voice. You sure? These are actually a pretty high quality stories. But it's not the stories that solely make the game, it's that you are interacting with them. You think about the facts and make logical decisions based on them. I guess I can't force you to get Phoenix Wright....but I can try
If we don't like reading, why are we preferring to read a book over playing PW? Anyways, someone already answered, but I just want some more responses. How does Archetype compare to NOVA online? Which one is better, and why? That certainly sounds like schoolwork! That's exactly what I don't need during the summer! (Except for the fact I already do! Grrrrr)
Since there's an ongoing argument about Phoenix Wright, I might as well join in! TiltMyTouch and Balu: have you played point-and-click adventures before? Some that have been brought to the iPhone include Monkey Island, Broken Sword, and Beneath a Steel Sky. If you like the humor and storyline of those kinds of games, then you will like Phoenix Wright.
I was wondering if I should pick up the full version of The Package? I played the lite version, and I adored it quite a bit. But I'm a little scared the full game will get a little too difficult for me. Kind of like Electric Box, the first batch of levels is really fun and not too challenging, but there's a point in the game where I'm now thinking "Uhh...." and have no idea how to progress even a little bit. Electric Box is one hell of a difficult game D: Is The Package the same? Do the solutions make at least a little more sense than the ones in Electric Box?
Sure I don't mind. I usually like fantasy books (though not that Twillight-like crap), because they are free from the limitations of our real world. My favourites include LotR (of course), the works of Raymond E. Feist (both his fantasy series and the single dark fantasy novel). I'm also currently enjoying the Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson. But why do you ask?: )
Elemental Monster TD and Battle Front:Europe are the best in the category, also try staunch defense...it's very good!
Hmm tough decisions. How is The Creeps? I just tried the lite for geodefense and it's pretty good. I'll check out Elemntal Monsters real quick.
Actually, The Creeps was the only Tower Defense game I could ever get myself to actually play. I usually get pretty bored playing TD games, but I found The Creeps to be pretty fun. Definitely play at least the lite version.
How much content is there without DLC. And how much content is there in each DLC? I'm thinking that I'll have to make this decision based on price.
Last I played it, I found it to be a bit easy. Haven't played it since they added difficulty levels though, but I still found it fun.
Are there any games in the app-store similar to Gauntlet: Dark Legacy? It's kind-of like a multi-player hack-n-slash adventure game where you use powers and skills to defeat enemies, complete puzzles, and so on. Dungeon Hunter is somewhat similar.
