Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

Looking for good rhythm games, preferably the more traditional ones ATM. I'm looking mainly at either Rock Band or Six-Strings, but I can't decide which one to get. Anyone want to weigh in on the two apps or recommend me something completely different?

Btw, I have Beatrider, Tap Tap (which I dislike), Tap Studio, Tap n Share, and Rhythm Spirit so far.

To anyone looking for a fun, unique game that didn't get enough recognition, check out "The Hero" published by Chillingo. Really fun game that didn't get noticed enough.

im so pissed cuz i remember buying the game like when it came out, but i recently found out that i dont have it on my computer.is it still 1.99?

And if you download a game that you had previously from a promo code and deleted, would it download for free?

 

If you bought an app or used a promo code on it, you can download it again for free. Just try to write a review in the app store first to make sure you really purchased it.

It's better than Rock Band. But out of those two^ I'd say Rock band.

 

How is Flick Baseball? And Flick Baseball or Plunderland?

 

I haven't played either one of those but I do recommend Dancedancerevolution S/S+

Tap Tap is an absolute rip-off. Tap Studio is the one I prefer. It's not fancy by any means, but it's custom creation opens up the possibility of having every one of your favorite songs in the library. It's free right now, too, so I'd suggest you hurry up and get that.

 

Plunderland, a must have gem of the AppStore

 

I'm already planning to get Archetype next week, but just to make sure, how does it compare to NOVA online?

 

I need two $1.99 games, or maybe instead one $2.99 and a $0.99 game.

For $2.99, should I pick Plunderland, Predators ... or??? (I also don't have Plants vs Zombies actually, although I have several TD games).

I don't have any ideas yet on $1.99 or $0.99 games.

I'm going on vacation for a bit and need a few good games to hold me over. Was thinking about Let's Golf 2 and Jet Car stunts any input on those two ? (namely on let's golf 2)
