Monkey Island 2 ipod? Xbox controls are terrible (this is a reversal of MI1!) How the heck do you go to classic view in ipod version anyway?
I have an oddish(yes, grass-type) question for all you Arcadians: Is Jim and Frank funny? The thing that I have always enjoyed the most about those kind of games is the humor. 200TH POST!
Is there a game with great customization? the generic RPG forces you to customize to compensate with the enemy's levels. it's like "you have reached level 30 you must wear this armor with the requirements of blablablabla". it's like forcing you how to play or how you want the characters to be, if not, the game will be hard. by great customization i meant that the parts you customize is really substitutable and have different effects on the battlefield, though you can upgrade it. it doesn't have to be necessarily RPG 2d games please.
Does anyone know a good classic turn-based RPG like Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest? I already have Monster RPG 2 Final Fantasy 1&2 Chaos Rings Wolfenstein RPG PuzzleQuest Sword & Poker 1&2 that fall into that category (basically)
I'm not sure if it's classed as an RPG but try Goldenye by Sony. http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/ Can someone tell me what the game is, underneath the main article, it has the real racing icon, must eat bird icon etc. But what is the game shown playing on the iPod touch?
I'm stuck between a few games. I live in NZ so the price is different for each one and I'm unsure what to get. I have $23 on my gift card and I'm looking at: Chaos Rings $17 Hector $5 Crystal Defenders $11 Icarus - X $4 Arch-type $4 Space Invaders Infinity Gene $6 Anyone have any suggestions what I should get, or any recently released games that are worth looking into? Thanks.
Well, there's nothing quite like minigore [/sarcasm] But if you're looking at good DS shooters I could recommend: Meteor Blitz Critical Wave Alive 4 Ever Returns Pew Pew 2 And a personal Favorite that blends RPG with DS Shooter: Solomon's Keep
IIRC there isn't anything like that apart from the stuff you already have. But if you enjoyed turned-based FP RPG like Wolfenstein RPG, you might like Undercroft and the Quest. Try the Lites - you'll be able to transfer your saves if you decide to upgrade.
Is Jim and Frank funny? Not in the same way as Revolution and Lucas Arts adventure classics. It does have a lot of humor, certainly, but it is milder? less out there? the writing is good, but not actually stellar? And of course puzzles are also very different between classic point-and-clickers and it. OTOH, Jim and Frank is a very charming game in my opinion and I have become a fervent fan of point-and-clickers.
Well that's unfortunate. I have tried both, and I like them to a certain extent, so I may actually buy them soon. Thanks for the help~
