Umm... later on in that long wall of games that he has, it says "Quick Hook". Yeah... All I can think of is either N.Y.Zombies or Necromancer Rising. Both fantastic games.
Sadly you already have PW? That's not a sad thing at all! That's good news! I'm replacing that frowning face in the quote with a smiling one. And I like I said last post, either N.Y.Zombies or Necromancer Rising will hold your attention for a while, and both are awesome game. Otherwise, if you want something that requires a bit more reading, the Adventure Gamebook series is really awesome. The third one is fantastic so far, and I highly recommend it when it comes out.
Oh yeah, if you mean it that way, then I'm with you on that one. I wish I could completely forget everything that happened in that game (along with the MGS games) and play them over again. They're that good.
Give me a minute to procure a nice list of games Sorry, may repeat what you already have. Sword of Fargoal Doodle God Tilt to Live Plants versus Zombies Real Racing Underworlds Broken Sword ***** The Settlers Driver H.A.W.X Land Air Sea Warfare Red Conquest Saving Private Sheep Pocket God Spinzizzle for free(?)
Have almost everything on the list except L.A.S.W and Broken Sword. So how is it with Canabalt and Robot unicorns?
Get Broken Sword then! It is only the best point and click adventure! LASW is a nice RTS. I haven't got Canabalt or Robot Unicorn.
For anyone that wants a console-style game with a lot of playtime, check out The Red Star. If it's the full port of the PS2 game, it should 18 or 19 levels, and the first level in the lite version took me around 10 to 20 minutes. Plus, the graphics are pretty nice, which is always a plus. I haven't actually gotten the full version yet, mainly because I have to finish other games. Anyways, I had a lot of fun with the lite, it's like a bullet hell shooter, 3D beat 'em up, and a fighting game (complete with RPG elements and a large number of bosses) all rolled into one nice package. Some people apparently have been experiencing slowdown on their devices, but my iPod Touch 2G on OS 3.x is performing admirably (with the lite version, of course). That's my recommendation of the day. And here's my question of the day - is Prince of Persia: Warrior Within worth the cash? I'm not much of a platformer guy, so if it has more platforming than combat, it's not the game for me.
Yeah, I've almost finished it - it's a bit more arcade than I was expecting. Fun, but would have liked some options like changing camera, easier way to compare car performance stats, an option to replay the cinematics, and an option to play ipod music. The cars don't really feel that much different either, other than maybe speed. I like the graphic style though.
yeah, i agree. They should update it with camera options (why does shift have it and not this?). The graphics really make the cars look cool, especially in the garage mode where you can look around them. The drift challenges are freaking hard IMO lol how far into the game are you
I'm half way through the third city (which I'm assuming is the last city, unless a whole new map appears after this city). Drift challenges? I don't remember seeing any of those (there are in Shift though, and yeah, those are hard). Heh, maybe you're confusing the two games?
SPOILER ALERT: yea the third city is the last city, unfortunately (could have like 5 cities ). When you clear the last city, you unlock drift challenges in certain areas of the three cities, which are a real pain to complete and, frankly, boring. They are useful for racking up style points for unlocks, but i already have all cars, so really no point in completing those.
You got all cars w/o doing those challenges? How'd you get enough style points for the really highend cars like the Porches and Honda? I don't think I've even reached 100k points yet.
