      Canabalt, Robot Unicorn Attack, Peggle, Plants v. Zombies, Need for Speed (shift or undercover) are the really good $3 games off the top of my head. For others, look at the posts from now to a couple of pages back :)

      broken sword * one of my fav
      bass

      Looking for a good Metroidvania

      Aside from The Deeps, which is fun, but a bit frustrating, can anyone suggest a good metroidvania game?

      I'm looking for a large map to explore, one with doors that can be unlocked with the powers you get for exploring or from beating bosses.

      How is this the wrong section? I'm asking for a recommedation for an iphone game.

      I'll give Grokion a try, but from the description, I'm doubtful.
