I'm holding off on updating for a bit, going to wait till most of the apps get updated or to see if there are any major bugs in the os. Also I have a feeling that the os4 is most likely a resource hog kinda like going from windows xp to vista lol.
Dunno, I liked Red Conquest when I first got it but didn't even bother playing much of the second campaign. The interface is just convoluted, much harder to use than LASW and I found myself using the "move all units" command all the time. I can't speak about the balancing of Dark Fighter because I haven't been able to get an online match yet but the interface feels much nicer than RC.
Ok I need to know quickly... Carcassonne or Super Quickhook? Keep in mind I have an iPad, so Carcassonne said they will update it for the iPad in the near future. I'm also getting an iPhone 4 next month when it is released in Australia. Which one is more fun? And higher replay value?
You can jailbreak with redsn0w to enable multitasking & wallpapers I did it and nothing bad happened, backgrounding works perfect.
IDK, I like the level of micro that the RC! controls offer and I got skilled enough to make a perfect attack force in a matter of minutes. Dark Fighters controls are easy peasy but but micro for me is neigh impossible. Land Air Sea Warfare controls are just fantastic as well no complaints there. And you have to give RC some credit for actually having different races to play. (And call me weird but I like playing in vertical vrs landscape so Red Conquest gets some brownie points with me for that.) P.S. Any news about a RC Ep:3 update soon?

i'd suggest picking up gamelofts and EA's one dollar games while you can. they certainly are worth it. Sadly, I havent gotten a single game off the sale...already bought every single one of them at original price..
So, just got a 15,- euro's prepaid card, and with the current sales extravaganza, I'm looking for some new apps. Are these worth getting? Carcasonne Robot unicorn attack (<3) Geometry wars: Touch (iphone) Uno My question is: NFS: Shift/underground Or Real Racing? and if some other games are worth getting from the sales?
Carcassonne is the best out of the 4 you are interested (IMO). The game has single player with a number of different AIs, pass and play with other humans, online play with randoms or friends plus a chat function when playing online. When playing against a friend you can receive push notifications when it is your turn to play. The game is simple to learn if you aren't familiar with the game and with the future expansions which should become available as In App purchases it will add much more to the game. Uno isn't too bad especially for $0.99. If you are a fan of the Uno card game it would probably be worth picking up, I purchased it because it was only $0.99 but I'm not too sure how much I will be playing it. I hear online play is a bit slow. Geometry Wars is fun too but I have an iPod Touch and the damn game is constantly pops up saying cannot connect to leaderboards when I'm not online which is very annoying. Not sure if this can be disabled in the settings. Robot Unicorn Attack is a pretty fun Canabalt style game where you just keep playing and try to make it as far as possible. The music is great. I can't comment on the other racing games you mentioned as I don't care for racing games and I haven't played them.
OK gang, I have $15 in iTunes credit, and thanks to the new OS, a ton extra room thanks to the folder system (long overdue). I don't know what apps to DL with my credit. So I'd like to try and get some opinions from everyone. What apps do you consider absolute "must-haves," or what apps are you dying to DL, but due to the price, have yet to get? Here are the apps I have been thinking about getting: Space Ace Espgaluda II Assault Squadron Princess Fury Pix'n Love Rush Dark Shrine Seraphim's Scepter TEDD Guardian Knight I should note that I have an iPhone 3Gs. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I now have $14.01. I bought Super Laser :3 Also, I wish that Space Ace was on sale along with Dragon's Lair. I already have DL and am hesitant to buy Space Ace at its current price.
Folders are a fantastic perk! Even if you can't have the backgrounds at least you have room for more games. Woot!
