Check your court record and the evidence. What would have happened if Mia ran to the Left instead of the Right? Does that make logical sense?
Sorry, but can someone succinctly explain why PW is so amazing and worth $5? From looking at descriptions and the like, I just don't see what all the fuss is about.
It's a good game. But yeah some TA people are getting themselves over excited about it. First LASW, now this. It happens.
I'm kinda interested in PW but I don't see what the big deal about the game is either, at least judging by the screenshots. Some of the reviewers are saying its not like real court cases at all, but more about what a little boy might imagine goes on in a court room, kids stuff. It may be good, but I haven't been convinced to buy it either. Not sure which crowd the game is appealing to. A younger crowd?
Wow-those are two of the best games available for the iDevice. It's not overexcitement-it's appreciation of a quality game
Well you sort the reviews by most critical and you read 'em and they have convinced me that it isn't that good... IMHO it's over-excitement, seems like everybody is going mad over the game.
Same here, that's why I haven't bought it, and I don't have LASW yet, but when I get another gift card or something I will. And remember kiddies, don't believe the hype
It's actually based on the Japanese court system, which really did operate with a questioning (guilty first, innocent later) method and a single judge and no jury until 2009. It appeals to anyone who has ever played an adventure game, really. And also to people who get into dramas and court procedural things like that. There's also an element of mystery and motive to it.
I'm definitely not obsessed with PW as many are, but I do have to say that it's a great game that is well worth $5. If you are a fan of adventure games/point and click adventures, you will likely enjoy PW. I am enjoying every minute I spend with the game but I am not saying it is the most amazing game EVER. So if you like the adventure game genre and want to play something a little different, check it out.
There's exploration scenes between the court scenes. You have to walk around the crime scene and areas possibly involved with the crime in order to talk to witnesses, recover evidence, and overall progress the storyline. It's much more interesting than the concept sounds. Check out some videos if need be, since if you see what happens in the first case it's not a huge spoiler. The first case is mostly there to get you familiar with the game, and the following cases for plotline.
Read my above post to see what it's like. Again, videos are your best bet for seeing what the game's like. They should release a lite version with the first case, just so people can get a taste for the game.
