Phoenix wright. The story is amazing and so is the length. The first case is a 35 minute-ish tutorial. A normal case is around 4 ish hours. The final case is two cases put together. The plot twist at the end is brilliant too. Please, It's only £3! I got it for TEN TIMES this price on DS! It's already a bargain!
I'd... totally flip a coin, really both are great games (if you're into their respective genres of course) and you can't really go wrong with any of the 2.
In total it's around 30-40 hours of gameplay for only 5 USD. If you want something fun and fast, get Mr. AahH!! or Mr. Space!! Totally amazing games with simple concepts.
PHOENIX WRIGHTTHHTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111 not an assortment of casual games, nor some board game. please think.
I completely agree with Khamous. Both Carcassonne and Phoenix Wright are fantastic games. If you only have enough for one game at the moment I would say Carcassonne just because two weeks from now once you are done with PW you will have no reason to play it again. The only reason you might want to play through PW a second time is just for the funny dialog. Carcassonne on the other hand lets you play against the AI, hotseat multiplayer on the same device with friends, or online with random people or friends. As far as replay goes you could be playing this things for years to come depending on how much you enjoy the game of Carcassonne. Even if you never played the board game you should at least get it at some point, the game is very easy to learn (with a good tutorial and additional instructions in the game to teach you how to play) but still hard to master. PW is still a great game I'm just trying to say that you will probably get more time out of Carcassonne especially if you have friends online or in your area with the game. Once you decide on your next game then get PW.
Phoenix Wright all the way. Like I've said before, I've played the game through already, yet am still enjoying playing it again on my iPod. It's an AMAZING game, and if you've never played through it before and enjoy a good plot, don't even think twice before hitting the buy button.
I'm going on a long flight coming up, is Hector a good game to keep me occupied for a while? P.S. don't tell me to get Phoenix wright instead because I already have it.
Oh good, I don't have to tell you to get Phoenix Wright then... Hm.. something that isn't being recommended a lot lately... How about Necromancer Rising? If you don't have that but are into dungeon crawlers or action RPG's, it's definitely worth a look. I've put a lot of time into that game, and I've made almost no progress in comparison to the amount of stuff there is to do in the game.
Stuck on case 2 of Phoenix Wright where white is testifying the the victim first ran left then went right. Where do I object?
Already answered that on the game's thread I actually didn't enjoy The Quest as much. I tried the lite version, and I didn't get too into it. I just got a bit too lost trying to find where I was going. Maybe it's just me, and I'll give it another shot, but the last I remember I wasn't too into it.
Ya The Quest is a bit overwhelming, but I love the graphics and the insane amount of RPG options there are And responded to your Phoenix Wright comment in the game's thread...
