Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

K guys I have a lot of questions and I would really appreciate if y'all could answer them.

1. Is Avatar worth $7? Is it just a hack-and-slash game with great graphics, or is it a truely revolutionary game?

2. Is jet car stunts worth $2? I have heard great stuff about this game but can somebody tell me exactly why it's so great?

3. Which is better...alive-4-ever or minigore? And why?

4. Is fieldrunners the best tower defense game? If not what is the best? What makes fieldrunners better than other TD games?

5. Should I get cartoon wars or cartoon war gunners? And why?

6. Is touchgrind really all it's hyped up to be?

7. COD vs NOVA...which is the better FPS?

I know it's a lot of questions but if you guys could answer it I would really appreciate that. Thx so much

 

thanks. Ill definitely look into it a bit more. How about Glyder 2 and Stair Dismount, those are the main 2 I am lookin at?

 

I've never played either of them before. Stair Dismount looks fun though, I've played flash games just like it before, along with Max Injury, all of which were fun.

 

1. Not revolutionary, but a good game. Probably worth $7.

2. Absolutely. Best deal on the App Store.

3. Alive 4 Ever because there's way more content.

4. No, Fieldrunners has great graphics but is not the best TD. Best TD is either Defender Chronicles or Sentinel 2.

5. ...no idea

6. It has really cool, innovative controls, but the novelty will wear off eventually and there's not much content behind it. But a good game nonetheless.

7. NOVA

 

i have a rant stored up in my head about D. Chronicles being the best TD, but i'll save that for later.

for now i'd like to ask, Alive 4 ever or iDracula?

okay i've had two questions in the past week that have drowned in this ocean of a thread

ALIVE 4 EVER OR IDRACULA!?!?!

 

Alive4Ever. iDracula is hit or miss with a lot of people. I found the gameplay to be less than engaging but there are many who are obsessed with that game. I don't know what side you'll fit on but the majority of people agree that Alive4Ever is a great game.

 

oh and I would recommend Garters & Ghouls over iDracula.

 

yes but what worries me about A4E is that there is apparently no survival mode?

whats the gameplay like? what do you do? just play a set number of levels?

 

Yeah there is. There is also wave attack. With unlockable guns and stuff, do you do your homework?

Good choice. I like the graphics better in idracula but in A4E there is more content.
A4E: 30 levels, wave attack, survival, 4 characters, tons of weapons (lots of them), RPG elements
Idracula: survival mode, wave attack, rush, like 10 weapons or something (i dont remember), and well yeah...

 

I hated iDracula

 

Since we released Raging Thunder for Android and Ovi, we've really seen a spike in multiplayer. Not sure how many other racing games have that kind of cross-platform connectivity, but for us it's really working out nicely.
