4. Babo Crash HD - it's a universal app, so despite the HD in the name, it runs on the ipod. There are some crazy bonuses that have you destroy the entire screen and turn your ipod madly. Probably the most fun i've ever had with a match 3. Puzzle Quest isn't bad, but the random generator is seriously flawed. It creates ridiculous chains again and again, to the point where it can skew battles in one direction after only one or two moves. If you like being frustrated, play Puzzle Quest. The depth of the game is also pretty shallow and repetitive, and there's an annoying level cap so that you hit 50 after the first chapter and then there is really no more room to advance (especially since stats have diminishing returns). Slime Army and Devil Invasion are similar games with even less depth and more repetition. Adubble is a game that works with the match-3 idea that you move the entire column or row. It has some interesting powerups and different score challenges that keep it interesting. Chuzzle uses the same moving of the column or row. It's not bad, but it isn't as varied or fun as Adubble and Babo Crash.
Have you played Trism? Don't get me wrong, I loved Puzzle Quest, I just have an urge to keep playing Trism that I don't get in puzzle quest...
Check out Paradise Quest. A nice unique match 3 with tons of levels. http://appshopper.com/games/paradise-quest Edit: this went on sale today for .99 Another recent is Call of Atlantis http://appshopper.com/games/call-of-atlantis-2 There are plenty of match 3's with there own twist but thought to mention these two. If you liked Atlantis Sky Patrol. Then try Sparkle: The Game. http://appshopper.com/games/sparkle-the-game (menu buttons do need extra tapping at times). A great marble shooter and just as good/better than ASP. (I played that as well)
Dude, nobody is going to gift you the damn game. Give up a Starbucks coffee or Big Mac and buy it yourself.
wow just read that thread..LOL HE PMED ME TOO. and whats wrong with getting a bj in the starbuck's restroom fruho?.. the bookstore restroom is an even better venue.. not that I would know of course..
I'm looking at Above and Beyond Air Combat. How hard is it? Are the controls good? How does it compare to Skies of Glory?
...hmm was about to ask about long adventure/puzzle games with interesting puzzles, but I guess pheonix wright is the answer, also, how is that monkey island game from awhile ago, it looks great but its a kind of big file for my dial up to manage. What's better, pheonix wright or secret of monkey island?
Robot unicorn, banzai rabbit, or assault squadron? They're all the same price and I like all three genres.
I'd go for Assault Squadron (although I havent played Banzai and only the e-version of RU), it is a pretty awesome game.
the dash series are very girly don't you think? i dont want 3d games thanks for the suggestions! will check out trism, compression, and puzzle quest oh, and new question guys. 1. Games that combines popular gameplay with RPG elements? 2. super mario-like game? 3. any great and not so expensive game by big name developers other than gameloft or chillingo? 4. any hidden gems that you know of? oh remember 2d games only
Not so much like Feeding Frenzy but Spirit you use the touch screen to draw things like a net which capture and remove the enemies. Really fun game. No idea as I typically do not play these types of games. A few of my favorites are Airport Mania, Chocolate Shop Frenzy and Miriel the Magical Magician. I'm a fan of match 3 puzzlers. Try Trism, Chuzzle, Puzzle Quest, Virus Laboritory, and Babo Crash. I like Trenches but honestly besides the two you mentioned I haven't really played any other similar games.
Recommend me best online/multiplayer (free) app And another recommendation - best vampire themed (free) app Thank you!
1. two words: SPACE MINER 2. Bounce On 2 3. Tilt to Live, I Dig It 2, Star Defense, Hook Champ, and Flight Control are great and inexpensive, unless the developers aren't "big" enough for you. 4. Try Springball and Snail Mail. I doubt that too many people know about them, and they're pretty darn good.
Which of these games are worth it? Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 Robot Unicorn Attack Guitar Hero (I like the setlist) Grokion Ninjatown I'm leaving for a 10+ hour flight on the 15th and need some games to keep me occupied. Hopefully Super Quickhook and Pro Zombie Soccer come out before then too. Everyone's advice is appreciated.
Is Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior good? I like Street Fighter. I have heard that there are some control issues. Can someone on this thread tell me if the game is still worth getting?
It depends how much you like fighting games. If you're willing to overlook Bruce Lee's control and lack of flow issues and general casual-ness, then you should probably get it. I personally like Street Fighter IV better though.
