Hm... even if I have completed most of the better point-and-clickers on the Appstore? Speaking of length, though, how short is Hector? British humor interests me, but I do like my games to have enough content. And folks, how about option 1? Can it be that nobody here tried either of those 2 games?
You might have an easier time with it if you're a veteran then. But that will decrease the length of the game sharply, as opposed to if you pecked around randomly for most of the game I'm not sure of the exact length, but I think I'm hearing somewhere in the realm of 5 hours? Could be wrong on that. In the same vein (you being a veteran), you may find Phoenix Wright to be a bit too linear and easy. But I still think you'll find a lot to appreciate in it (mainly the stories... bah gawd, those stories ), but I can guarantee your money goes a much further length with Phoenix Wright than Hector. Yeah, I haven't played either of those games in option 1
If you're looking for just the flight sim experience itself, one of the X-plane varieties. If you're looking for modern combat sim, probably Ace Combat (I think HAWX is good too, but maybe a bit more arcade like).
Idk... I think I like N.Y.Zombies over Zombie Infection. It's not by a lot, and I might be a bit biased, but I really like N.Y.Z. And I don't get why everyone hates the Zenonia games so much. I really like them, especially the second one considering the improvements it made to the first.
Some stuff from my wishlist. Considering I'm really into retro gaming and graphic adventures, which one should I get? Prince of Persia Retro (Never really got to play it fully since I found it too hard as a kid, also the price is a plus) Ragdoll Blaster 2 (Liked the Lite a lot) The Package Dark Void Zero Hector: Badge of Carnage (Looks great but it might be too short for $4) eBoy FixPix (looks great but seems too easy and short) Other stuff on the wishlist: Soul, 1112 ep02, Dark Nebula, The Infinity Project, Hand of Greed, The Impossible Game, Drop7 and Dragon's Lair. Any word on these? Sorry for the long post.
Hector seems like a great game so far. If I had the money, I'd probably pick it up. Sadly, though, I don't. As for Dark Void, I've heard that it's a great platformer but somewhat short on content. Can't say much about the others, except for wait for Prince of Persia. Oh yeah, get Phoenix Wright. I forgot to say that.
Yeah already got Phoenix Wright, it is awesome, but text heavy so I needed another game with a little more action to even things out. Why wait for Prince of Persia? I'm talking about the Retro version not the Gameloft one (wich I don't care much about, already played it on a PS2). Thanks for the reply!
Oh, my bad. I misread that since I'm tired and trying to do my homework. I thought you were talking about The Warrior Within... I love those games, so I'll be puchasing that immediately. I can't say too much for Prince of Persia Retro, as I have the same issue as you: not understanding anything. Apparently, the iDevice version isn't much help, as apparently the controls are mediocre and it doesn't tell you any of the advanced manouvers needed to complete the game. On that note, I suggest N.Y.Zombies. Fantastic tap-to-shoot game, and one of my personal favorites of all time. At least check out the lite version.
