It was right after Christmas. Trust me, it was a while back. Although, I do remember them having a sale recently to commend either a sales mark or the release of Ninjatown. Can't remember which.
what's not to like? -multiplayer -ability to micromanage troops -selection box/group -good controls -variety
Variety is really good, over 100 types of units/ technologies. You can micromanage troops, and I think the selection box is used. Unluckily, multiplayer is lacking, as this is a one man team that has been working the last 2 years. Variety is the best, with troops from stealth submarines to bombers, to choppers. Think the game civilization but geared toward war. There are also satellites that enable you to see where your opponents are, but they can't see you. There are secret agents that tell you the types of troop your opponents can build. Best, there are mega units that are uber awesome. There's one that fires a gigantic laser that obliterates anything in their path. Also, turrets, defense systems, and you do need to gather resources. like armada
wow this sounds really cool..I love rts that are heavily dependent on the managing of troops and attacking to win.
If you have ever played total annihilation for the computer (old game) it is ver similar to that. It's my favorite rts on my iPod. And I have most or all of them including. Command and conquer. Armada. Warfare Inc. Red conquest. Robocalypse. And more I don't remember and deleted.
Topico 3... So I got Topico 3 on steam... awesome... Is there any ipod games that has that dictator sims city style gameplay? Oh and what is in your guy's opinion the best risk game on the app store?
Wish they would add a campaign mode for land, air and sea warfare. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid game, probably one of the best rts games
Get $2 by next week and get Phoenix Wright when it comes out. I know I'll be kicking myself next week for buying Split/Second if I can't get this game...
What is Phoenix Wright? And I want Land, Air, Sea Warcraft soooo much.....tried it on a friend's device and loved it....but still not sure if it has enough playtime for $5...I'm a cheapskate.
It has randomly generated maps. Tons of replay value.. and many weaponry and troops at your arsenal! Definitely worth $5
