Are you kidding?!?! That ghost freaks me out!!!! I think Hook Bot is kind of a cheater's way out though....ruins the fun+challenge of the game. I'm going to pass on it for now
Lol, that ghost can get a bit creepy at times since it's always following you and can kill you at any moment, but that's only if you really fall behind. The game is really forgiving as far as the ghost goes. It's only killed me when I really fell behind. And if you don't want to deal with that, Hook Bot is your answer.
Na I suck at this game . Sometimes my fingers get all twitchy and send my rope all over the place.....freakin' ghost gobbles me up. Your right though, he is pretty forgiving. I enjoy the dying though, so no Hook Bot yet
well i didnt really buy him for the easy way out, i just couldnt beat anything and i loved the game, so i thought hey, why not! and the game has been so much fun! i mean you still have to work hard and such, but at your own pace
That Steelfire kid must have no soul... I bought Hookbot because I'm a wuss when it comes to challenging games. Oh god I made it sooo much easier. No lava to worry about, recharging boosts, easier to (literally) punch through walls, no ghost, more witty banter... Totally worth it. And no you don't kill anything. The only enemies are the furries in the minigore level.
If you're willing to put the time in to learn Red Conquest, I say that. But if you're looking for the most accessible one, Armada is the way to go.
In flick baseball can anybody give me advice on catching fly balls? I know this is the wrong section but in the thread nobody answered. I try to get it in the center but I drop it every time
Well I remember that I pressed it kind of late and it still stayed green. I don't think it has to be the center.
are you looking for online or campaign play? armada is pick up and play, and the online is always packed, considering it's about to break top 50 for all games. red conquest is deep strategy plus very long learning curve.
Although I suppose you still suggest armada, seeing as you've posted half of the posts in the armada thread.
Actually, I thought I played for a decent amount of time. I was able to mostly make it through a level without dying. But the monster was also very stressful. I'll go see about a hookbot and see if it makes a difference.
I'm all for opposing opinions, but let's not pull the "you didn't give it a chance" card on them. Don't be rude.
Is Zenonia 2 the best rpg at its price? (I have Inotia 2 and Chaos Rings, which I am still playing at the moment but may be finished by the end of this week, depending) Or should I wait for Zenonia 3 / Inotia 3? I kinda like RPG games, especially Square Enix and SEED. Inotia is fun... sort of. I got sick of the "get 4871208470 of this" quests. Looking at Zenonia's free version it seems like the same thing with better quality animations, worse graphics (blurry) but more humor. Also quest design is better, slightly. SEED's frame rate wasn't great lol but I'm only 23% of the way in and already dying to a horde of monsters in some dream world. (I don't understand this part =.=) But hey, it's free, Liked the way armour showed up on your character. Chaos Rings is my favourite at the moment but feels rather short. I'm done with 2 stories at the moment (first and third) and struggling a little on the second. While fun, it's not for me in the long term. Speaking of which though, I went through a marathon today. I reckon I could finish the last 2 stories and the extras in 2 weeks from... now ish. However, the weapons and armor didn't change on the characters. Small lacking point there. Is Zenonia good enough for its price? Does it seem like it would suit me? Thanks.
What are some good .99 games? I won my choice of one from that hand of greed contest. I already have Fruit Ninja.
I won it too but I never revived my gift yet >.> I recommend Armada A online RTS game, offline is coming soon.
Unfortunately Chaos Rings and possibly Across Age are the only decent RPGs that don't send you on infinite fetch/hunts quests at the moment. If you liked SEED, then Zenonia 2 is much better. Although in my opinion Z2 is the best action-RPG on the iDevice at the moment, if that repetitiveness really bothers you, then you might be better off sticking with Chaos Rings. CR really gets better and better as you finish more of the story arcs for each pair, and there are also secrets hidden about such as secret bosses and such. Oh, and about the appearances not changing, a lot of JRPGs tend to have that, although some have weapon appearance changes, but eh. I don't know if they have a lite version, but in any case, Zenonia/Inotia 3 won't be coming out for ages anyway, so it's worth a look.
