Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

There's a Lite version for you to try. It's quite fun.

 

I mean I'm looking for a game that is like where you select a few units for a mission like 3-5 and you have to kinda to tactically eliminate several other units without losing your own like that Armed and Dangerous game that's coming to iphone or BattleBotz. I already have Red Conquest and Armada but I'm almost looking for something like a SWAT kinda game style or something... Sorry I'm being a p.i.t.a lol.

Edit: like if there was a Army of Two game that worked like a TBS that's what I am trying to find

Well I haven't played both yet but from what I see it seems PC looks like it has more gameplay while Kometen is more of a relaxation kinda app. I am on the fence too as well about those two games but I say go for PC because it seems to have depth to keep it from getting too boring.

Ok another one I am trying to find is a Turn-Based RPG that is kinda like Rimelands: Hammer of Thor, anyone got some suggestions? (I am kinda in a turn-based mood this week... I blame 100 Rogues lol)

 

Transformers was pretty good. There's no intricate leveling up system or anything like that, but each character is different from any others, and it's not one of those games where you have to build as many units as you can, like in Advance Wars or Rogue Planet. I think there's a lite version... if there is, definitely give it a shot.

What's the best basketball game? I'm looking for a full 5 on 5 game. The only one I know of so far is nba live and it doesn't look that good

 

Thats really it. The App Store is remarkably short on full fledged sports games, barring soccer.

 

as far as i know, nba live is the only 5 on 5 available, but streetball (or something like that) is a cartoony 2 on 2 basketball app which plays quite well, though not so deep in content.

 

Im looking for a game with ONE or FEW of these

-Low battery consuming
-High Replay
-Maybe a story game/ a game similair to Zelda
-Games which you open once in a while to check how you are doing, and do some stuff, than close, and open later(games like Zombie Farm, and maybe Uniwar)
-Big game(think Battle For Wesnoth)
-Multiple Players on 1 iPod Touch(!!!)

 

You might enjoy Battle Blasters, which has a lot of the above criteria

 

I am looking for something around one to two dollars that has a decent amount of depth and preferably offers some excitement. I have edge, armada, and Solomon's keep. I tried the lite of sword and poker but I didn't find it all that fun. Suggestions?
