We hate you. BUT, I'll be kind and generous and answer your question. I tried the lite version, and it was alright, but I've seen better controls. At least they're not confusing like Red Conquest!, but they're just... ok. Check out the lite version if you want a hands-on experience, but from what I've played, they didn't really make or break the game. They were just... functional.
Thanks for the honesty. Although I have tried both lites. Both had very easy controls as far as I'm concerned. My problems with Red Alert is that I heard it crashes, and I think it might end up taking a lot out of my wallet.
I couldn't say much about that. I'm not that sure of how much it crashes in the full version, but in the lite I had no issue.
If you have a F&F game, I hear that it's not much different from the other two, except for the addition of an online MP mode. On the other hand, Aftermath is one of the most original, and awesome, dual stick shooters (if you want to call it that) I've played. If you want a good atmospheric zombie shooter, go with Aftermath, and for a (seemingly) good racing game, F&F is your game. Of the two, though, I recommend Aftermath, since there's nothing like it on the App Store, while there are tons of racing games out there, and you probably have at least one that's better if you're into racing games.
I meant to answer that... Okay so I think that Warfare inc. is the best deal for 99 cents (or did the price change?) Red Conquest is also mega-awesomesauce, with very in depth strategical gameplay. I have heard a lot of bad about CC. I find that unusual since most big title games have rave reviews even if it's not that good. I would pass on CC if I were you, but I haven't played it so don't take my words for the truth.
Robocalypse is a RTS. it should be .99 right now. It was a full-fledged DS game that got ported over to the app store.
Aftermath was pretty awesome. The levels are relatively short, but it's not really "Pick up and play" as you're probably thinking... I'm sure Zombieville is probably down to around $.99, and I've been playing it as a pick up and play game for the past 3 days on the same game, until I died today. Nonetheless, fantastic game. I'm sure there's more, but I can't remember them, and my mind's blank.
Thanks for the quick replies guys, I'll check em all out. Solomon's keep, dizzy pad and Ninjatown all look pretty fun....But I can only get one....hmm
Umm well I just bought it yesterday and it is unique and fun. But I've only played it like 6 times due Tilt to Live and Space Miner taking up my time. Honestly it is unique and fun but I don't think it'll last as long as...say Hook Champ or Tilt to Live. Only one gameplay mode (right?). If it gets one or two more gameplay modes I'd say it's a lock. An itunes reviewer had an idea of slow motion, I'd sure as hell like to see that in the game. But it's only 99 cents at the moment. Totally worth it right now.
I never though slicing fruit could be so addicting. It's getting a Zen mode really soon in addition to 2 other game modes in upcoming updates. I'd say it's definitely worth the $.99.
