Anyone recommend Hero of Sparta or Fieldrunners?

 

I honestly wasn't crazy about Hero of Sparta. So no to that one.

Yes to FieldRunners if you are a TD fan.

Hero of Sparta was a very early iPhone/iPod Touch game, so it isn't that great compared to the other adventure games there are at the moment.

Fieldrunners is an overrated game. If you want a TD, get The Creeps or Plants vs Zombies.

I really like PathPix, really fun game. You sortta join the dots of the same number and colour, and create a path in between. The number of spaces in between has to correspond with the number on the 2 dots. When you finish a puzzle, it shows you that you have made a picture. There is a lite version you can try but i think it's a fantastic buy, for only 2 bucks. There is also PathPix Pro, which has more levels and is more challenging.

 

thanks star paint isn't quite what im looking for. but pathpix looks fun so i will check that out

if there are anymore anyone can think of i would really appreciate it. i just love puzzle games on my ipod, think its the most natural games for the touch screen.

 

I know we have gone over this, but what is different about the Hook Champ full version?. I have played the lite a lot and I don't really find it that great. But everyone says the full game is so much better.

Well, I see you're trying to go back to the App Store's early days... Ahh... good times... But out of those 2, I'd say Hero of Sparta. I never played FieldRunners, but I was never into those kinds of games. Then again, HoS is a full 3D platformer for a really low price. It's all about taste really.

And actually, my favorite early App Store game is Brothers in Arms 1. My first, and still one of my favorite, games on the store. Check it out, even if you have the second one.

 

i brought the full version a while ago.

the upgrades make it a bit more playable, but i kind of had the same opinion as you with the lite, but kept it on my list because of the recommendations. i ended up picking it up on sale though

dont really play it anymore now.

if the lite isn't your thing, i don't think, long ropes, faster swinging etc. will really convert you, . as it didn't really convert me.

 

Is Football Manager Handheld worth the shot? It's quite expensive, so it's not something I would take a risk at.

 

Warp Gate or Espgaluda II?

 

Warp Gate. It's a great game. Takes a while to really enjoy it, but it's definitely worth the buy.

 

i would get both, but if you had to choose, Warp gate is deeper and more varied.. Id definetly get both eventually,though
