Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

This may sound weird coming from someone who likes adventure games like I do, but I didn't like Myst. I tried the lite, tried to get into it, but I just couldn't. Games like Monkey Island, Beneath a Steel Sky, or Broken Sword I was into a few minutes after starting, but I was pretty bored playing Myst. I'll pass on that one.

What pick up and play game should I get besides Tilt to live or Doodle Jump (I already have both)

they are all better than those 2

 

Should I get Sword of Fargoal or Solomon's Keep? Price aside, which is better?

 

Enviro-Bear 2010 and Rat On A Scooter.

 

Picked up enviro bear and dizzypad.

Shrooms are the greatest

 

I'll probably FINALLY get Enviro-Bear and Doodle Jump soon. Maybe. I'll see after the big releases come out.

 

Anyone try Pandamnia? Looks pretty unique and wanted some opinions.

 

Best drug war game?

 

GTA: Chinatown Wars. Doesn't get better than being able to do other crap while in the drug wars.

I want to know a cool, not well known game. I have most of the well known ones and I want something more underground to try out

Also, I know this has been asked a lot but what's the best racing game? I already have real racing so dont count that one, I've heard about academy and raging thunder, but dunno about them, any recommendation? (also, if there's a topic about that that you know of, can you direct it to me?)

 

Solomon's Keep is a great Dual-stick Shooter/RPG, while Sword of Fargoal is an awesome rogue-like. It depends on which genre you like more. I recommend you get both as each are great games.

I already got JCS, I meant a more "serious" type of game as it is truly awesome.

I'd look into raging thunder if I were u, but be warned: it's VERY hard

 

NFS:Shift is a pretty good arcade sim. If I wasn't so bad at it, I'd probably enjoy it even more. Otherwise Raging Thunder 2 and NFS: Undercover are great arcade racers, but RT2 is pretty hard to start. It's not as bad once you know what you're doing, but be prepared to get killed at first.

 

Yea RT is crazy fast

 

Really? I tore right through Raging Thunder 2 without much resistance by the AI save the last cup and win every race by half a lap. That being said, I still love the game
