    Hey fellas.

This is my first post here (been lurking for a few days)... need suggestions on which of the following games to get (in which order) :)

    Zombiesmash
    Star Defense
    Spider (Bryce Manor)
    Homerun Battle 3D
    Thumpies
    Spirit
Street Fighter IV (been on the fence because of the steep price)

FYI I already own the following (paid) games:
    Defender Chronicles
    Drop7
    Flight Control
    Angry Birds
    Skee-ball
    Zen Bound
    Jet Car Stunts
    Earthworm Jim

Suggestions re: the above, as well as any additional recommendations are duly welcome :D

Although I didn't like Star Defense.. I think it is worth the dollar - one cent. It's a polished TD with some feel good elements added for a fun play. Another I highly recommend is Spider. The game is really fun to play with. The story throughout keeps you playing. They even added some extra levels hinting more into what happened at Bryce Manor. It's worth checking out. No clue on the other games. I'm on the fence on SF4 too.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm looking for an R-Type kind of game. I already have Cell War..

I would get them in this order

    Zombiesmash
    Homerun Battle 3D
    Street Fighter IV
    Star Defense
    Spirit
    Thumpies
    Spider (Bryce Manor)

But there are a ton of other good games.

Homerun Battle 3D is imo the best sports game on the app store. VERY worth the money.

Spirit is ok but if you are interested in it you should get GeoSpark its very similar but i personally found it much more enjoyable.

Haven't tried any of the others

Homerun battle 3D. Download the free lite version and try to resist buying the full version, I dare you.

I loved Beneath a Steel Sky and it has a lite. The Broken Sword is even better, but it doesn't. Didn't play the other one, sorry.

Space Miner! A great, incredibly polished game that appealed to everybody who tried it.

Would I still enjoy it if I'm not really big into Asteroids-type games?

Well, I never played this type of games before. I couldn't get into Isotope and Dropship though. For me personally, Space Miner is the only action game on the platform so far where the controls work really well and the gameplay is truly addictive. Also, it has brilliant writing and light RPG elements too and is very pretty.

I'm looking for a game similar to Bejeweled 2, but with global (and preferably regional aswell) highscores.

    What should I get?

Definetly, but you're going to end up wanting to complete the missions because they're awesome, and because they're the only way to unlock the tank without having to do any stupid races.

Is Aftermath worth getting? I'm really looking at it since it looks like one of the only actually creepy games out there, but I've heard it's pretty short. I can handle the length, since updates are in the works, but I just want to know how good it is.

No. All you have to do is ram the tank with a car a couple times, until it's moved suffieciently away from where it started, then when you get in you wont have to do the race.

If you're talking about Aftermath, yeah, it's really nice. Great atmosphere, good controls and graphics (though a bit small). No real storyline (other than the typical background) and levels are pretty short (only 8 levels + survival mode, and it took me like 10 min. to get to level 3), but it's only $1 right now. A good game for quick bursts of suspenseful zombie shooting.
