PvZ is all you need... but if you insist, a personal favorite is Knights OnRush (pity the devs abandoned it, but it is pretty cool, it has a lite if you want to try it beforehand).
I second that. GTA is all you need. I've been playing this game for hours now and have only completed about 16%. It's ridiculous. You need it.

Games with rpg elements that aren't completely rpgs I like games that are different genres with some rpg elements. For example, the cod online on consoles you have different classes and unlock items as you get better, or space miner, where you have to get money to buy upgrades for your miner. Any recommendations???

Heavy Mach 2 (levels and gear upgrades) Alive4ever (levels, abilities, and gear) HR Battle 3D (gear) Fly Kiwi Fly (gear and ability upgrades) Colosseum (gear upgrades) Space Miner (gear, levels) OMG Pirates (ability upgrades but automatic) **I enjoy these elements immensley so I'm constantly searching for more. Thus why i liked "Fly Kiwi, Fly" more than Zombie Cannon Carnage. FKF I constantly got better gear and abilities. In ZCC it only lasted 3 rounds then hadto tart over.

Well I enjoy the free version, and being able to download taps made by other people must be an awesome feature... I think it's 3 bucks, so if you have money to spend, go for it and let us know how it is.
