It seems like bugs are random on iOS Spoiler (did someone say conspiracy theory, lol) Hey for everyone wondering about needing bigger devices (more space). Here you go; I'll let the experts preach part of my point! http://www.phonearena.com/news/Why-Google-wants-to-kill-SD-cards-and-whats-holding-them-back_id23986
If you like board games I cannot recommend Ticket to Ride enough. Great gameplay, great polish, easy and quick pass-n-play game. My only small gripe is that there is no online multiplayer, just solo, local, and pass & play.
These are all excellent. Right now I'm playing Bag It! the most of the three, but that will probably change after I finish it. Finished King Cashing some time ago - a bit of grinding, but fun. Ticket to Ride isn't the most deep board game out there, but it's fun (and I like trains!) and you can't beat the price for a buck. Tough choice!
I recently got a friend into Pocket Frogs/Tiny Tower, and she's now looking for other game's similar to them that DO NOT require a network connection. Things like Dream Zoo, Tap Fish, Dragonvale, etc. all need a network connection. I never really could get into this genre of this game other than those Nimblebit titles, so I was wondering if someone else could help her out here?
For who? Tiny Tower is freemium done right, but I definitely don't think it should be Game of the Year.
Holy ****. Wow, that definitely is a HUGE shocker. Well then, like I said, I don't think it's worthy of Game of the Year. Not by a LONG shot. But when it comes to these freemium-style games, Tiny Tower is definitely clear cut above its other competitors. And that's also why it's the only freemium I play. Which is why I still ask: Any other of these freemium games that are good but don't require a network connection to play for my friend?
I'm sorry man, I don't really play too many of those types of freemium games. If I play freemium, I stick to shooters (Bullet Time, Gun Bros., etc.) or SNGs like Please Stay Calm. But yeah, I was shocked to see that that was GOTY. I would've never wanted a freemium game to be GOTY anyways. *big sigh*
Congrats to Tiny Towers for GOTY. It was the one freemium Farmville-type game I could stand playing for more than a day on the iOS. Deleted it after a few weeks though. It really is a well-made game though. Thinking about getting Batman and MMR tonight. Will try out Six-Guns. Not sure what else to add to the list..
I looked over the new threads, but nothing grabbed my interested other than Bejeweled. Was there anything worthwhile that I might have missed from tonight's releases?
Oh nice. I kept checking the front page earlier, but I guess the new release article was slower this time around.
Six Guns Impression is up! http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2033841#post2033841 I will also be leaving one for MMR soon and one for Crazy Bomber once it's updated to work on 4th gen! Also, trying to figure out if I'm going to satisfy my puzzler sweet tooth with a Chillingo game!
