I have to disagree with an opinion a few posts up - WELDER is well worth the money, on sale or not. Perhaps my very favorite of the dozen IOS word games I own.

I guess it's just personal opinion, but I really don't think it's worth it. I've played pretty much every word game on iOS, and I just don't see what all the hype is about.

Yeah, understandable. I always restart my iPod before loading up a big game along with clearing out my multitasking bar. Sometimes when I play BT, it crashes after 25 minutes. Sometimes it happens after 5 minutes. Haven't tried it out after the update yet, but I'm expecting better performance. Hopefully I didn't turn too many people away from the game with my impressions though, haha. I mean, it is free after all. But yeah, I think it's a really fun and well-made game that everyone should at least try out.

Have all of them besides UFO on Tape and Trundle Unlimited. It's certainly an interesting list. Wouldn't recommend Spoing or A.I.R Defense though, meh.

Yeah, RAM issues can be annoying, but until the next gens come out we're stuck with it.

I was curious as to how you compare Bullet Time and Extraction after playing them some more? I'm pretty sure you already saw my earlier posts saying BT was better.

I thought Extraction got boring pretty fast. It was extremely fun at first. The only thing that'd keep my playing is the weapon tree. Lots of stuff to upgrade/earn. I don't think it's that similar to BT though. BT is definitely the better game. Nonstop action, lots of weapons/gear to collect, and a very competent multiplayer mode. The campaign gets the job done as well.

    I agree with you!

I, also, agree that they're different games, but I think they're comparable enough, IMO. IDK :)

    2. Real Racing 2 (Well, I think it's £1.99)

    4. Grand Prix Story (I got it for 69p, but I think it's £1.99 now)
    5. Rocket Riot (I also got this for 69p, I think it's £1.99 now)

I wanna know what games you people recommend. I love action games, I love RPG games, and loads more.

Can anyone recommend some games that have a deep story line with lots of playtime? I already have Shantae, Mage Gauntlet, Laura Croft

    Aralon: Sword and Shadow.

Probably put 10 hours into that baby.
Ash is good too, but I wouldn't say it's a LONG play time. The story is REALLY fantastic though and the characters are lovable. Maybe 5 hours if you blast through it.
Dark Meadow is decent. The fighting is kind of dull, but the story is amusing.
I'm getting through Lego Harry Potter, so I couldn't tell you if it's good or not yet. People say it's fantastic though(easy though).
Galaxy On Fire 2 was good while it lasted on my jailbroken 2G ipod. The story isn't very long though, IMO. The visuals and gameplay are top notch though.

Gamebook adventures maybe(if you're into those), but they aren't too long. Maybe 2-3 hours to play through it once(but you'll keep coming back to finish every ending).- currently playing the spider one.
The zenonia trilogy. I enjoyed the second one the best, the first then the third. Third one is free, but devs purposely make it insanely hard towards the end to make you buy IAP's.
Heard Wild Frontier was good. Have it on my iPhone, but haven't played it yet.
    Haven't played Majesty yet.
World of Goo? :D Lol, it sort of has a background story >_>
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within was REALLY good. Console quality(it's a port). I found the controls good, but many others disagree. Play it if you own an iPhone 4 or faster device.
The Secret of Chateau de Moreau. Kind of like Phoenix Wright except made by a more indie developer. Only get it if you're into mysterie/puzzle games.
Pheonix Wright. Duh. (it's the DS version, I believe)

I think there's more, but I don't want to browse through my purchased apps to list all of them >_>

Well, if you don't own it yet, Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is a gold mine, and on sale for 2.99. Don't have many story games though since I don't really like rpgs .

Going on a fairly long trip, any games that I should get (I don't really care about battery life much/at all)...

Oh my god, wow. I've been begging for someone to start doing short, concise reviews of most major releases each week, and someone has finally delivered!

If it'd be too much to ask, I'd really appreciate if you could make a totally new thread to post each week's impressions, so I and others don't have to keep flipping through the pages of this massive thread.

I'd suggest perusing through the thread to look at already posted impressions!

Based on what you listed, I'd recommend Bullet Time, Age of Zombies: Anniversary, Call of Mini: Zombies, Call of Mini: Double Shot (this sort of resembles Gun Bros. IMO), and Jetpack Joyride. Also look into the Zenonia trilogy and the Inotia trilogy. I, personally, prefer Zenonia over Inotia, but you can try out the lite versions and choose for yourself.

Other games that I like at the moment are Katana Jack, Raccoon Rising, Crazy Panda, Blueprint 3D, Sparkle, Ravenmark, plus whatever is in my signature. I consider all of these to be exceptional games. I've already left impressions for them, but if you need me to, I will repost.

    [[EDIT]]
I guess I'll throw this in, King of Dragon Pass is probably my all time favorite game on iOS, but it's definitely not for everybody. I'd recommend to you if you like games like Civilization or have some sort of affinity towards TB/strategy games.

Figured I'd give you the fyi that anniversary gives you a new story chapter (3 levels) and i think a couple new survival levels and retina and some other stuff...(otherwise it's mostly the same game). Still, it's on sale for a buck for launch...
    Just a couple quick questions:
    1. Is there any difference between Flick Champions and the HD (universal) version? Which should I get (both same price, but i don't use an ipad).
    2. Is Superman any good? Fun? Lots of content?
    3. How fun is SpyCorp?
    4. How crappy is Harry Potter Spells?
    Thanks!

Here's the impression for AoZ: Anniversary
Yeah, Shadowgun is a pretty awesome game. I really wish they would hurry up with multiplayer, but last time I asked about it they said, they would release it when they thought it was ready. I asked about a month ago, and I'm assuming that it will be released by year's end.

Yeah, I would just suggest looking into the other games that I posted in my previous answer. I think you'll at least like most of them!

Flick Champions HD is the universal version. There's really no harm in getting it. Plus who knows, one day you might decide to get a iPad. The price will go up from a dollar anyways; it's an introductory price.

According to backtothis, Superman is mediocre. I haven't, personally, played since it didn't really interest me.

Harry Potter spells isn't crappy, but I think Harry Potter fans will enjoy it more than others. I mean, all you really do is hold your device like a wand and pretend being a wizard. You can duel people as well. I'd highly suggest checking out the free version before committing.

    I haven't played Spycorp! Here's a gameplay video:

    PVZ or Zombieville 2?

Alright, narrowed it down to 2. Should I get:

-Plants vs. Zombies (looks awesome and very well known)

    OR

-Zombieville USA 2 (a cool-looking remake of the classic with more features)

I like both of the games equally, but I only want one due to my low space on my iPhone 4 16gb!

    What should I get?????????????
