Major Mayhem It's little more than a shooting gallery where you alternate between shooting and reloading/taking cover. The game looks/sounds great, but there's not much to it. There's plenty of levels but all of them are based on having quick reflexes/accurate tapping. It's more of a high-score game than anything. There's no control of movement. I guess if this is the type of game you're looking for, it's pretty awesome. I was looking for a cover-based shooter, and this isn't it. Rocket Riot This game is awesome, mindless fun. Blowing up everything is extremely satisfying. The powerups are great. The music and art are both top notch. As other have said, multiplayer would be sick. Not a huge fan of the movement controls though; a joystick would be great. The view makes me dizzy as hell, but I'm sure that's all part of the package xP. Recommended for sure. ---------- That should be it for this week.
thanks backtothis. Might get evertales... btw, grand prix story? if i never got around to HSS and GDS?
Ravenmark is awesome.... So is Scribblenauts Remix.... Damn Lara Croft too.... Blueprint 3D, Rocket Riot also.... Only disappointment with this week's buys is Shadowgun... Kind of dull gameplay, can't wait for multiplayer tho!!
Ugh, I used my last dollar on Shadowgun instead of Scribblenauts. I've never regretted something so much in my life.... except maybe that time.... no, nevermind. WORST DECISION EVER. (it's very polished though)
Haha, yeah but too late not sure should I use my last dollar for WoG or wait for next week's releases. I tried it before and it was kinda hard
Okay what should i get? Garageband (I like music and kinda want to make some) Gangstar Rio or Oh!Edo Towns?
It depends on how much you like Kairosoft. Edo Towns is probably their best 3D building title, but it's not too different from the other ones. If the Kairo formula is starting to wear out for you, I would get Garageband. Based on what I've seen/heard/read, Gangstar Rio is terrible.
thanks! hopefully a couple of these fill the void of no Gauntlet Legends or D&D: Shadow over Mystara.
Joined just to get some opinions. I really love RPGs like Battleheart, Legendary Wars, and Dungeon Defenders. I like strategy elements and pretty graphics, and not too steep a learning curve. Are any of the following worth getting? Infinity Blade Aralon Chaos Rings Hunters: Episode One Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden They're all on the pricey side, so I can't really get them all. Where should I start? What are other great RPGs / SRPGs on the iPhone?
Just bought Scribblenauts, and I still have a bunch of money left. Could you guys rate the rest of the games on my list from best to worst (or as best you can)? Flick Champions, Shadowgun (vs. Rainbow 6, which is also on sale?), Peggle, Great Little War Game, World of Goo, Grand Prix Story, Rocket Riot, Blueprint3d, ContreJour (hd?) and Bumpy Road. Or if you just have one I should get/avoid please post your impressions on it. Up to you, though i appreciate all help. I have a ipod touch 4th gen, on 4.2.1 (if you know of the game playing badly on that device, anyways). Also: if you know how long it takes to finish the game (plus replay value), could you please add that in there? Thanks a ton!
Backstab is on sale. Are the bugs and glitches that bad to not warrant the .99cent price? It looks like a really good game....
Mass "What should I get?" Thread Hello, I realized that it's kinda difficult in the App Store to find incredible iPhone games so can you guys list me some of your favorites? Oh and it'd be cool if they had the Retina Display... here's some that I have: Modern Combat 3 Shadowgun Infinity Blade Real Racing 2 BackStab X-Plane GTACTW GOF2HD Dead Space Are there any more games look and play as good as these? (Not counting anything else from Gameloft or EA Mobile
Space Junk, Vertex Blaster, Infinity Field, FlipShip, PewPew [1,2], Blowup!!. Asphalt 6 since i play it when Im on break from RR2.
For me the bugs weren't too bad (itouch 4g). For me though, I really didn't enjoy the game, it felt a little too dull and not really that fun...maybe you'll find it differently, but it didn't strike me as something I'd, given the chance, have necessarily bought again. For a dollar, it might be worth a purchase. If you like almost all of Gameloft's stuff you won't be disappointed. But in my mind it's not one of their best games. If I'd paid more than a buck I'm pretty sure that I'd have been disappointed... Also: Grand Prix Story, World of Goo, Shadowgun, Peggle, Bumpy Road, Great Little War Game. Which of these are the most fun, and which have the most content? Also are Flick Champions or Pix'n Love Rush any good?
I bought: Scribblenauts ShadowGun Lara Croft Peggle Street Fighter IV Volt Grand Prix Story Did I miss anything major?
