Some TBS I enjoy besides GLWG which I also enjoyed: Tactical Warrior - awesome small gmaes Tactical Soldier - great graphics, fft type Squids - angry birds slinging mechanism with rpg elements Battle for Wesnoth - big maps, elfs, weird stuff @Osujxu Death Rally fo' sure.
Depends... Overall, it's a good 2D Minecraft-ish game. Kinda like MC meets Mario. If you are more interested in building in 3D, Eden: World Builder is the best IMHO. The game that is most close to Minecraft overall is MoonCraft (and it's free to try.) I would definitely recommend Junk Jack over Crafted, though - Crafted is literally more like 2D Minecraft, but it's difficult unless you are familiar with the game. No matter what game you try - look here or elsewhere for basic crafting ideas, most of the games copy Minecraft's methods (a big tip for Junk Jack is that tools are built on the diagonal, not T shaped!) Plenty of people around to help you get addicted.
I recently just heard of a platformer called "Platform Hell" there's also a "Platform Hell Pro" what's the difference? And are they any good?
I'm getting an iPad 2 soon, what games should I get? I know it's kind of a broad question but I'm not restricted to any one genre. I don't like word games though. Thanks for any input
Haha, Kid...great suggestion about the "Where's my water?". I had never heard of it. Downloaded it and very quickly saw that "Angry Birds" potential. Loaded it up and showed the wife that night. She loves it. Pretty fun too. We take turns with the levels.
DynaStunts is on sale for a buck, so I thought I'd ask what you all think is the best "Excitebike"-style stunt game out right now. Not a Trials/Bike Baron-style, but just a simply fun stunt bike game. What are some of the best?
can someone please list best RealTimeStrategy games he played on iPad ? (not tower defense, maze, rpg etc)
Will be buying Gangstar 3, Evertales, Epoch, Blueprint 3D, and INC tonight. Going to get Asteroids Gunner for free as well. Junk Jack + all this? What a week.
To answer my own question in case anyone else wants to know. The game that reminds the most of Dark Souls i probably going to be Infinity Blade 2. -Different routes -When you die you get punished greatly -Based on actual skill, not numbercrunching -Dark and unforgiving Thanks You're welcome
I got a huge list of games here. And also read the replies you have got about your question. Some are good & some are really funny. Well, overall it's a good discussion and got to know some new aspects and of course some good games also.
Dyna Stunts or Super Crossfire? I unfortunatley have only one buck left and already have most of tonights releases.
I only have Super Crossfire between those two choices, and I gotta say if you like shmups even a little bit, Super Crossfire is worth it. There's a ton of levels (pretty much doubled since the last update), a lot of level up options (that you can reconfigure with no penalty) and great presentation & music.
Definitely SC. ----- Looks like I'll be passing on Gangstar 3 tonight. It's pretty much the exact same thing as the previous two games. Epoch, INC, Asteroids Gunner, Blueprint 3D, and Evertales still look like good buys though. Going to have to read up more on why Epoch is only an hour before I get it. Hopefully it's like Infinity Blade where multiple playthroughs is meaningful.
