Just wondering crex, what are you going to do with your 2nd gen? Upgrading to the 4th gen this year or waiting for the 5th gen? I know that the no-release of a 5th gen this fall was a major setback in our plans for upgrading from a 2nd gen.
Sorry Crex, I did understand you'd expect them to be better, actually I thought it was cause you have 2nd gen... But yeah gotta agree with btt and pf that MC3 and Riptide alone make it best week this month! MC3 is in top 3 this year for me
I'm planning on upgrading to a 4S by the end of the year. Would have been nice to see a 5th gen iPod though as a fallback in case the whole 4S thing doesn't work out. No worries. Yeah, MC3 is definitely a contender for GOTY (Even though I might not play it by then). Riptide doesn't look like my cup of joe though, so I'll have to pass on it.
MC3 seriously surpasses all expectations. They honestly did an amazing. With both a stunning sp and mp, it's the best FPS on the iOS by leaps and bounds.
Agreed! MC3 should be the GOTW winner by a landslide. If we are able to ever get a full TPS, this good, on iOS I'll pee my pants with excitement. The only needed improvement for MC3, as of now, that I can think of is higher sensitivity.
Agreed. But yeah, Gameloft really made a winner. We haven't seen anything good from them since five months ago when O&C came out, but wow, they delivered with MC3. ----- Edit: Holy shit, Shantae is really good as well. Just got the full version. Definitely give the free version a go guys.
Wow. seriously. MC3 is amazing. GOTY I recall MP has so many maps and modes and 12 players! Controls you should change though. MC3 all alone would make me wanna upgrade lol
BTW guys, Riptide has great sense of speed, but the tricks are hard to do(at least for me) and water is fluid, but unfortunately blurry.
Yeah, I had to fiddle around with the controls on MP quite a bit. Now, I can quickly go in and out of looking through the sight. Having to press at the bottom right was killing my gameplay tremendously.
If I already have RR2,is RR still worth getting? I know its damn cheap but still any incentives to press the buy button immediately
Not really. RR2 is pretty much better in every way. ----- Damn, there sure are a lot of good sales going on right now. I guess Halloween is technically the start to the holiday season though.
Looks like Zombieville 2 should be hitting the App Store in the next hour or so according to their Twitter. Kinda weird that it didn't make it into last night's releases.
If you have RR2 I don't see any reason to get RR1. The sequel improves upon everything from the original, and therefore is a vastly superior game.
$77.53 so far in October. Huge jump from the $26.32 I spent in September. iOS release months are crazy. On the bright side, I won $50 of giftcards this month. First month doing contests; they're pretty sweet. Hopefully I won't even have to spend over $25 of my own money per month now that I started doing these contests. Can't wait to see what the holiday season brings us. Spent $146.62 of my own money last iOS release month though in September 2010. Guess this is an improvement.
