Random iPod question time: Is it worse to charge at half battery than at zero, or is it just the number of cycles that wears down the battery? I have to dock my iPod every night to use it as an alarm, so charging daily is unavoidable. Thoughts?
No problem keeping it on the charger. In the past 13 months that I've had my 4th gen. iPod, I've generally charged it 2 to 3 daily. Haven't seen any change in battery life. I guess if you're worried about it, you can do what Apple suggest: once per month, let your battery drain completely, and then charge it to full.
Read this! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110618211540AAN1y0Y It has helped me out. It's the most informative response I've found about the battery to date.
I've been trying to drain and do a full cycle charge much more frequently than once per month. -__- Good responses guys, thanks.
Have fun waiting a year like MC2 took before going on sale. Except this time, the game is better in every aspect.
Meh, 10 months! I'm so far behind on Gameloft titles it'll be 10 months before I start playing it anyway!
*sigh* Why is it that people always twist and turn my words around? 1st of all, I never used the word bad at all in my post. 2nd of all, I said I expected it to be better. Does that mean that I think tonights releases aren't good? No. Sheesh. People really need to start reading...
Actually, that has nothing to do with it. Even if I had a 4th gen, I would still be on the fence for all the games releasing tonight (with the exception of MC3 of course).
No kidding. Honestly, MC3 alone makes this the best release week of October. Last week was pretty damn great, but yeah. The other releases are pretty mediocre though. Only getting Blosics and Dawn of Magic besides MC3.
