Ok, I'm looking for some new games to play. Here's my criteria (pretty broad though) -no rpgs unless tbs's -i don't really like retro much either, unless it's a platformer -preferably cheap -looks decent -[MOST IMPORTANT]---FUN to play. Also just a couple ones I'm potentially thinking of jAggy Race, Bike Baron, Scribblenauts, Game Dev Story, Jetpack Joyride.
From my personal playing experience, you NEED to get Game Dev Story and Jetpack Joyride. GDS is in my top ten favorite idevice games of all time.
Jetpack Joyride and Bike Baron from your list of potential buys fit all of your criterion perfectly. They are two cheap, good-looking, non-RPG hella fun games. Definitely look into the other three in the future.
Well, basically I'm gonna have a $15 iTunes card, and that's probly gonna have to last me a couple months (at minimum until the Christmas sales). So I'm looking for the most fun games out there [haven't bought anything in the last month or two btw]. So yeah, anything fun is wanted. Also Game Dev Story is on sale for a 'limited time' so should I pick it up asap?
Currently at a deficit of about 15-20 GB on my iPod. 200 MB left on my 32 GB, and that's after I took off RR2, A6, Fight Night, MC2, Drawrace 2, Prince of Persia, Warm Gun, which all I want/need to play more of, and quite a few others in the past week or two. Got MC3 coming tomorrow, and it's going to clock in at over 1 GB. Besides that, I have quite a few games that I bought but couldn't ever sync onto my device due to lack of memory including Hector 2 and 3, Monkey Island 1 and 2, Worms 2, City of Secrets, and more. Can't believe how badly I'm in need of a 64 GB device. No idea how I'm going make room for MC3. Might have to delete NBA 2K12 and Worms Golf, both of which I bought just last week, to fit it. Damn.
I feel your pain, I only have 802mb left on my iPod. When the new iPod gets released I'm definitely getting a 64gb model. I have no idea what I'm going to delete, yet! I think I'll just pull an all-nighter to write reviews and delete all promo games. Hopefully, I'll be close to 2gb after that.
On my 16 gig i still have 4.0 gbs left... lol. Do a spring cleaning and just ask yourself"when did I last play this?" If its a long time ago and you say hmm I might finish it DELETE IT. I will guarantee you won't. Also go to Settings>General>Usage and wait and then a list will appear of what things on your device take up the most space. Helps decide what to take off! have fun
Lol, the answer is yes to all of them. I delete games I don't like minutes after I buy them if they turn out to be crap, and single-player games as soon as I finish them. Don't have any free games besides To-Fu 2, which went free today. If I'm willing to delete RR2 to make room...lol, it's certainly not for crap. There's really no solution besides putting a cap on how many new games I buy weekly, and we all know how well that works out.
GoF 2 (plus Valkyrie) or Battleheart? Give me a magic-eight ball answer (mine only works on other people).
Huge price difference, lol. Both are great games, but I'd say GoF2 wins in just about every category. You might want to spend quite a bit of time with the game before getting Valkyrie though. There's more than enough things to do without getting the iAP.
I'm going to have to go Battleheart, especially if you're still playing GPA. I think the fun factor in Battleheart is a bit better than GOF 2, though.
Oh I will, definitely, but I have $20 on my US account that I won't spend on any new releases tonight so I thought I'd buy something that's been on my wishlist for ages... What does the IAP for Kaamo Club in Gof 2 unlock? Heh, I still haven't hit the buy now button (changing stores) but I'll get both eventually, just wanted a random stranger's opinion on which to get first.
Ok, who else didn't know there was a "Quick Links" tab on the TA toolbar? Just figured out that it was there today...after two years and a half. Omg. "Today's Posts" and "Mark Forums Read" could have saved me a lot of time on TA, damn.
Oh, hey, there's a Wiki! Neat, thanks! My main account is New Zealand based, so anything I want to get I can get on there, but I have a US one as well, for competitions and games not available in NZ. But no, I don't think I will.
