Still haven't finished work yet..haven't tried any of the new releases yet besides Whale Trail, which I got during the day. Almost done though. Will probably pass on sleeping more than two or three hours tonight to play the new games. Already 2:04 AM.
Indeed, sleep is for losers. It's 5:16 AM. I have to shower/dress/eat at 7:30-8:20 before class starts at 8:30. Just got through trying all of this week's releases so far, and wow, very positive things to say about them all. Left impressions in their respective threads. I have to say though, Mage Gauntlet is a necessity, even if you've never played a RPG before. Hoping Fara can match up. Will be getting it once it's out tomorrow. Fara, Mage Gauntlet, Bike Baron, Whale Trail, Worms Crazy Golf, Galaxy Pirate Adventure, Robot5, Fruit Ninja, and Bring Me Sandwiches this week. Been a long time since I've bought this many games in one week. WCG was the only one that didn't live up. Pretty disappointed with it. It's really been a great week overall for iOS gaming though. Can't wait to see the hard-hitters roll out next week. October has really been a great month, rivaling last September when iOS 4/new gen. came out. Excited to see what the holiday season that's about to start will bring us as well. Awesome time to be an iOS gamer.
Regrettably, I have not been following upcoming releases as much as I would like to. What is coming out next week that I should save up for? lol. It's only one of the best action RPG games on the App Store EVAR!!! Read the TA review of the game, it pretty much describes it well, if you were raised in the era of the onslaught of amazing 16 bit RPG games, by golly this game is going to be as familiar to you than ever. From the Spell System, to the Pets, to the Rocketcat Hat Collecting Fetishes, it's all around an amazing game so far.
MC3, Battlefield 3, Zombieville 2 (if it's approved fast enough), and I'm sure there's more. I actually don't read the upcoming section either. Just know about the ones everyone talks about.
Are you kidding me?! Those two titles are coming out next week!? Woah I seriously need to get with the times I guess. I hand out too much in the lounge and lose brain cells ^.^ Stoked for Zombieville 2 are well. But I have to have those aforementioned MC3 and BF3.
I actually can hardly stand this pixelfest graphic style, retro games are almost never for me... But i don't know if i should give a try to this game.. as the magic system, anventuring, pets, hats are all got me interested... It's only the graphics that makes me nervous (and nervous is a nicer word)...
Just reading through the lounge makes you lose brain cells, lol. But yeah, should be another great week. Fara is out for a dollar tonight if you're interested.
The only reason I havent gotten on the Mage Guantlet train is because I play on an iPad and I cannot stand 2x crap. if it were universal i would have it already.
My bad! Looks like I ran into some misinformation then. MC3 will definitely be good enough for now though. Thanks for clearing that up.
The new "Hardcore Games" section on iTunes is a pretty good list. Have all of them except FIFA 12 and FFIII. Oh, and Zombie Escape, so 3.
That's what I thought, I was freaking out that Battlefield Aftershock was being released next week! I was like WTF! ahahahahaah yeah I'll give me time to beat MC3 and fiddle around with the MP. ^.^ Theres quite a few on there I don't have. How's Anomaly Warzone?
Are there any really good currentlyfree/alwaysfree/0.99 games out there? (i plan on getting bike baron eventually, but none of the other releases really grabbed me). I need some more, solid quality games for a trip... (pretty much only requirements are fun, polished, and cheap )
No problem and MC3 will definitely be enough considering I still have all my other games to beat, and I'm going to to be picking up Zombieville 2 and possibly desert zombie last stand (I heard it might not have coop at release).
Honestly, it's a must-have for any TD/strategy fan. It's tower offense and simply brilliant. The iPhone only version is $1.99. Top of the line reviews from every site you can think of.
